When I compile I get:
c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\vc98\include\d3dtypes.h(109) : error C2011: '_D3DCOLORVALUE' : 'struct' type redefinition

..and 24 other errors like that. That's because i need an older version of dxsdk for vc++ 6 right?

If it's so, what version should i download?

Thanks.

I downloaded and installed the sdk (december 2004)

but the it's extras only comes with some folders.... and no include folder btw.

So i tried running the skeleton anyway but i got this error:

Linking...
LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file "d3dx8.lib"
Error executing link.exe.

Ok. I managed to do it.
Some else might get stuck with vc++6 like i did so this is what you need:

DirectX Sdk Summer 2004 - Install it, and add the Include and Library directories to VC++6 as it says on the help file in "getting started"

DirectX Sdk Summer 2004 Extrax - Add this to the libraries in VC++6: "D3DX VISUAL STUDIO 6" folder.

Also I think you need Service Pack 5 for it to work.
