Hey get used to it. Enjoy your youth. I just turned 30, try staying on the computer for any length of time when you have a full time job, and a wife for that matter. No kids yet LOL, that would REALLY put a damper on my "computer time".

My time is unlimited, got to work a bit in the garden and do the dishes, but apart from that... as long as my exams are good, and nothing suffers from it everything's OK.

Can't you disable that time limit thing? Is it like software, cos that's easy as hell.

I've got a limit - tend to bypass it though

Though I do have "no computer days", no computer, video games, and limited TV.

My parents will occasionally enforce the "no screens" rule for a day or two. But usually if I just get in my school, and get outside a little bit (a dog walk or a bike ride will do, but airsoft suits me better) then they'll let me be on until is gets very unreasonable. I can get in 3-5 hours a day. Not too bad.

I reject your reality and substitute it with a full-on, guns-blazin' video game reality of my own.

No kids, and just turned 30 in August, so we are on the same league bond1. The amazing thing is that now I complain because I can't stay up for 3 days doing whatever I want to do in my computer.

Bottom line is: mankind is never happy with anything. If we are young, we are pissed off because we are young, if we are adults we are pissed off because we are adults, when we are old we are pissed off because of the other people being young or adults.

@Chris

Enjoy it Chris, really, you'll have a looooooong time not to be young mate, a really long, agonizing time. Ok, not agonizing for most people but certainly not has fun. Sometime, and just for the simple fact that I'm married, have a full time job, stuff to take care , etc, I can't be on my computer for 2 or 3 hours a day, just because I'm an adult. No one tells me I can't be there, I know I can't be there. So we both have the same problem, only diferent causes.

Have fun mate!

I'm pretty sure I know everything. Doubts are something rare in me and I am never wrong, as this signature can prove.

Limits? I think I left the computer alone once for 5 hours...

That was back in 1985 if I recall correctly.

I actually had to go see a doctor because the "Q"'s started talking to me. We had real conversations (at least from my point of view), about programming, life in general.

So like it was said eariler in this post old dudes have time limits to but it is self imposed or we would never get up to go to work then you young ones would starve

As far as no screen and computer limits go, it seems Dr Phil has a lot to answer for.

I'm 17 and mostly on the computer 15+ hours a day, I have allot of free time on my hands because I don't go to school or work.. You young kids should just wait untill your my age so you can have more freedom and be on your own. Because right now I feel sorry for you... I do other things like lifting weights and when I find the time I go out and do stuff.

Uhh, I am 17, going on 18 (SOON!!!), You don't have free time, and certainly not 15+ hours. And if you do, go get a GF and save yourself from the geekhood. Even at 18 you don't have that much free time, even less, college and all.
