Newcomers DBPro Corner / Get ground height in DB Pro

How this works in dbpro? For me it just gives a random number, like +2000 - -2000, even the matrix heights are only something like 1-10.

I tried to run the old 3rd person camera example for dbc, but the camera is just bouncing like crazy.

The X and Z coords are realtive to bottom left of matrix, so if you have moved matrix to say 1000,1000 then ground heights still range from 0 to 1000, not 1000 to 2000 as expected.
