Why? Why shouldn't I? ONE GOOD REASON!!!

You will soon get good with DBC, and want DBP, if you go straight for DBP, then you will not have to pay $50 and then $76. Good enough reason if you ask me!!

99% of us that use Pro always tell people to buy Pro... but only when they post a question asking us what they should get.

I take it you got Classic first.

i've got both now, brought classic first, then got pro some time later, but i feel the opposite, i think pro was a waste of money because anything i want to make can be done in classic just as well, plus there's no loading time when i try to run it.

I got Classic first.. Then few months later I bought DarkBasic Pro anyway...

I think it totally depends on what price you're looking for, and what features you'll need.

I started with Classic too, afterwards I bought pro and now I have both. I could use my knowledge of classic to understand pro and use the full power of it.

It's true, it has to load every time you test it. But then again, the speed and functionality is far better than the classic version.

DBC is more stable than DBP I believe.
But then again DBP is still being worked on.

I've started too with DBC before DBPro. There some command that work much better in DBC than DBPro, like append object command.

Windows XP,pentium IV, 1,9 MGZ, 768 mb memory, 128 mb video card ATI Radeon 9200 se s80 'sett squadron back on the assault'

If I were you, I'd be careful about posting a thread on an official TGC board which slates a TGC product. Not very clever, unless you want to make enemies.
