(i`m sorry if i miss-spelled it..)

This is a compo of making best nature sight , but what i really mean is something like this :


(yeap this is taken from windows default desktop from microsoft)

SO , you need to make it look as much NATURAL as you can , i mean it needs to look like REAL nature , not some effective computer stuff , the point here is to get it look as MORE REALISTICK as you can .

Award is off , due to a cheat try witch i never could recognized without a help of another tgc forum`s member , so this could easily happen again , so no award except the winner get`s to chose the next contest topic.

Don t diss dodics compos i like 'em. I like the fact that his last one was easy to do yet still varied and became more complex as it went along. Ill enter mine in a day or 2.

I wasn't "dissing" his compos, they arent bad themselves, just too close together in date, and not long enough time to make the models. There'd be a much larger turnout if you lengthened the time to say, a couple weeks. Would give room for more people to notice the compo, and try their hand at it.

Well , maby but i think i`m giving fairly simple enough ones..

A beginner in this case can just take a plane or something , texture it as grass , play with faces a little...and there it goes ..maby add a sky background or something...

And offcourse it`s ok what you are telling to me , but i`l appreciate if you wouldn`t put more of those here , please , i like your suggestion , but not for this compo i`m afraid...

(look`s kinda like flaming , i know it`s not , but let the people have clear post sorted compo , with less flames and stuff as possible , so everyone who want`s to enter or to take a look , can easily look at all posted entrys)

And the compo is over , so i made new one , what`s wrong with that ? (that is NOT a real question , please don`t answer..)

That`s great (i mean that secound part...)


the only reason my compo`s are short is becouse if they were long , there would be much more to think about , much more replys that has nothing to do with topic , and first of all : Possibly someone entering something he found from a web site (and if i make it long compo , then it would be hard for me to know if it is..it woudln`t be easy for me to find that model somewhere on the net..)

Hm... I might join this... but probably not. I agree they should be more spaced out time-wise. And "inaff" if I may assume what you mean by that is enough, then it's spelled like this: enough. i like that these compos take less time to make than the other ones, but 3 days is freaking stupid! and shouldent the winner be able to choose the next one? else whats the point in voting for a winner if they gain nothing.

What's with all the compos? We'd prefer to enter competitions held & judged by a competent modeller - just because a few users participated in your first one doesn't mean you have to build a throne here for yourself.

Atleast 1-2 months pause between compos.

Well, one compo is the original compo lot made by me and Big Add, and dodic kinda made a clone, it seems user support this one, and so do the mods by the looks of things, so there should be no harm in let dodic having his own little one, although there should really only be one

@Sep : Your entry looks nice , but i have to say it doesn`t look so realistick , maby you could work on it for a while.


And don`t worry this compo is untill march , so you wan`t find many compos by me in the next few months at least.

And talking about is this compo right or not is forbidden , called SPAMMING , at least i think of that as spaming . (just a warning)

Well , this compo should be sorted nicely for anyone to see entrys clearly , yes i can open new thread for it when it`s done , but still , a lot of messages here are unwanted...

I would like to see some more Bryce renders. After all outdoor complex terrains/trees is what it does best. Ive decided not to use bryce simply because it would be too easy, but i wont get as good results. Bryce 5 and up has tree generator whick will be useful.
I decided to go with 3d Studio Max because I want to advance my skills.

If you dont mind Dodic can i post can i post an example bryce nature shot? (not my entry)

you can add whole state if you like !

it only needs to be NATURE as main topic (mostly nature in the picture) and in background you can make whatever you like.


But it needs to look real , i`m not sure creatures are real , but if they`r good , maby .. i`m not sure..
