Hi

I was looking for some blender tutorials to help me design game characters and I came across a tutorial about making a girls head (http://members.lycos.co.uk/duxbellorum/get_a_head.html)
So I figured this would be a good place to start.

But...
there are a few things I dont fully understand.

1. In the tut it tells you to cut the smoothed box in half (by deleteing one half) and then it gives a pic of this, but then in the next pic it shows two halfs positioned against the picture, I just dont get what it means or how it is done.

2. It also shows a translucient object against the picture and I dont know how this is done.

That is a bout it right now, if there is anything else Id ont understand I will inform you.

Could somebody please clear those two points up for me.

Thanks

1. This picture shows you how should you align box in front and side view

2. For translucient object just press D on your keyboard and then click on Wire

so your saying that in the picture it isn't showing how your screen should look but showing how to align the object?
