My micheal Jackson like model was one of my early works, so not him.

Quote: "V For vendetta"

You would think that with the movie just being released...

Quote: "Well, It looks a bit like yojimbo."

Yup, with all the confusion, I guess I need more to be done for it to be obvious...

Quote: "(no surprise from you)"

Tis true....

Thanks,

Well to be honest its a high poly image, and I liked how round the circle primitive I extruded from was, however I know its good practice for keeping the polies down, but I am not concerned with it in this image

thats awesome you got a good likeness going on there. darn ps2 outdating my psone. it made it so the last ff series i played was 9 which personally i didnt like 9 as much. VIII is my fav personally but id have to play X and X-2 to make a final opinion. but i cant decide if i want a ps3 or a nintendo revolution. id get the ps3 for the ff series but id get nintendo for the ledgend of zelda series. its sucks they couldnt be across platforms

I wouldn't recommend FFX-2 because personally I found it a disapointment, the characters are tarty, the bad guy called Lablance was incredibly irritating, heck, there was barely a story, it felt more like a game britney spears would like.

See look at the tartiness ->

quite possibly after like 14 games theyve finally run out of creativity?

EDIT: i just read that the final fatasy series will also appear on the nintendo revolution i think thats what im going to get once it comes out.

well it appears that is only true in X2, XI and XII look nice, so does the new movie, I think they must have accidently ordered cocaine instead of sugar to put into their coffee or something

Why don't you post the update at Koetsu Aboshi. Huh? HUH!? I see how it is. Anyways FFX2 had some decent ideas but yeah it was the overall "tarty"ness of the game that made it a let-down.

Psh squaresoft steals all kinda names from religions to samurai movies.

Bahamut, shiva and one other were hindu gods... Quetzalcoatl was an aztec/mayan god and his temple is located in Teotihuacan. The temple of quetzalcoatl, and he was a bird like creature. Ifirit i think mightve been from somewheres... Anywho a bunch of stuff from final fantasy has been in history before, at least names .

EDIT: btw the sideways princess laya things gave it away.

I somehow think he's trying to invoke sarcasm into that post. But anyways, any progress on Yojimbo?

Same sort of reaction at 3DW, like Usagi Yojimbo, or that old movie, heck because of it someone started modelling Usagi

@Oddmind, don't forget the book of Leviathan and Fujin (who is from Shintoism) you could say its a lack of originality, or just trying to relate to stuff to make it interesting

Quote: "But anyways, any progress on Yojimbo?"

Nope, already been asked at 3DW, and response will be the same, I won't be free until thurday evening due to the amount of coursework, heck I took the day off today to finish it all

ifirit was an arabic god too i beleive. and dont forget wedge and biggs is a tribute to star wars. and a cid is a character in almost all of the final fantasy series i beleive its one of their team mates i believe.

i doubt its lack of creativity cause they got plenty of it and it shows in gameplay and story line. though alot of their story lines run along similar themes but whatever.
