As some people may have noticed...probably more not than have...but I am *trying* to make a 3D and game development resource website. This has been slow going, and I am currently COMPLETELY redoing the visual aspects of the site. However, I would like to start on the content aspect here, as a community project. First, an overview of what I hope to achieve with the website:

-A fair amount of useful tutorials aimed at both completely new, entry level modelers and programmers.
-Links and such to 3D Modeler Application websites, and other 3D Resource sites.
-3D Model Packs(working on uploading one, and creating another)
-Possible 2D Resources as well, but that is more for the future
-A worthy forum, with custom resources, requests, etc.(Requests would include a very specific form to fill out, and all requests would be reviewed by a specified team.)
-Other things that I will plan later.

That's the basic scheme of things. But to be specific of what I'm asking from people here, no expectations whatsoever:

-Any 3D Models, with screenshots.
-Any Tutorials
-Any links to resources that would be relevant and useful.

I have done my own research and work on this, but most of it is sadly on the computer I'm using, wasting away, waiting to be uploaded. I promise to get to work on getting it made pretty and finished, but the main problem still remains to be uploading it. The site online is and will be frozen until I'm done making it look nice, and I'll post any updates on the status of it all here, of course.

Again, I don't expect any help here, but I will keep this thread as active as possible, and with spring break coming up, and me having no life, strikes a particularly useful chunk of time for me to get some stuff done, eh?

Look in the WIP board for "Gsupport". Warship45 is doing something similar to this, only its a more specific.

Have a look.

Frozen, I think it's time to tell you your website is being seriously hindered. Whatever template you are using is just too messy/busy. Tiny text and wierd spacing everywhere. (I'm on 1280x1024 with my text size set to large)

The website doesn't get to the models fast enough...I just noticed the actual models are tucked away into the "Downloads" section. The models themselves contain no image previews...why the heck would someone wanna download them then? In total, all I'm saying is a prebuilt template site like this will tick people of. Focus more on gettin a nice database of models before you focus on your forums.

Mine is looking better, although none of you can see it yet. I'm still working out some CSS tweaks and then I'm working on a model pack(reincarnating my sword one). I'm not sure when or how I'll be able to upload everything I've done from my computer, but I'll figure it out when I'm done with first major updates.

I've finally satisfied myself with the basic layout of my website, and the background. I'm just sorting out images and such, and am still working on the same stuff as before, but a little bit more towards the actual content of the page. I'll post any ore updates here as well.
