OddMind, weapons must be made specifically for this competition. If it's been on your HDD for more than a week ago(when this competition started), then I'm going to have to disqualify your entry unfortuantly(rules are rules, but it's still a nice model).

My weapon is in progress, I didnt make the sword above. I downloaded it from here a while back.

I guess you can move that to WIP but i noticed the resemblance to his model and wanted to know if he made the one in my post as well

Interesting entry Higgins, I watch the episode of the Simpsons where Homer gets a gun and that gun vaguely reminds me of what Moe did to his rather than a rifle and hanguns etc. you went for the dangerous approach Nice model

@Insanity nice entry, glad to see Weapon doesn't bring 'gun' to everybodie's mind, swords rule! (Especially Katanas, no guessing what I might model )

@OddMind...nope...other then this the only swords I ever made were along the same line of the ones in my tutorials, and my very old sword pack...

The only weapon cooler than a sword is a Gunblade. I was going to model one for the contest, but I don't have time with exams and all. Shame. Maybe I'll do it when they're finished.

This is a scythe i threw together. I origionally thought it would be for final fantasy XI but remembered we had a compo going on ^_^. so here it is, just finished the modelling, have to UV and texture now .

(just realized i posted in entries >_<, ill get texture done by the time this is over)

My vote goes to Oddmind, why? Nice design, nice idea and gotta love skull scythes, plus his design was well executed, even if textures are missing.


Nice entries, well its the evening of the 21st so, that means the end of this contest, late entries maybe entered within 24 hours of the end (so 8pm tomorrow evening UK Time) I know Alpha Zero had something in WIP, and should have entered it by now, I'll grab it from the WIP thread until he posts his entries, remember I will not grab everyones work and therefore not responsible if entries are missed, its not special treatment to Alpha, his entry springed to mind is all . (Hopefully there will be no complaints on that matter )

There are some great entries here. Many of the guns are great. However, I'm going to vote for a more distinctive entry.

Aromoured Slug has the most scary weapon I've ever seen. Probably the best modeling in the compo. However, BiggAdd has a very cool bow and arrow. It's the most original weapon, not a gun. It also looks more complete and I can imagine an anime styled super hero weilding it.

My vote goes to BiggAdd as I can imagine it in game. I would have voted for Armoured slug, as that weapon looks hella cool, but as you said it's not quite completed.

My vote goes for Alpha. Very unique and very detailed. Nice job man! Armoured Slug's was also very detailed and unique but it was a hard choice, and I just had to go with Alpha. Sorry Armoured Slug.

I'm voting for BiggAdd. The bow is a refeshing break from the usual sword and gun models. Plus, if you can make that kind of quality in only two days, then that's amazing. Good job to everyone who enter!

I vote for biggadd.
However the bow is not completly accurate. The way the arrow sits on the bow is not correct. The arrow should be on an arrow rest, not the shelf.
