I was using the FPSC Segment Kit and made my own floor that looks like marble. It's great and all, but I'd like to know how to add sound each time I walk on the floor because at the moment it's silent.
Also, when I make my own walls using the FPSC Segment Kit, I realised that the bulletholes are extremely tiny and not as big and detailed as using default prefabs/segments provided in FPSC. Is there a way to fix that?
Thanx for your help!

if you watch the video tutorials that come with the segment creator, it tells you about sound properties in the editor.

as for the bullet holes, ive never come accross that before...

Bulletholes are according to the material given to, in your case, the segment. I've never made segments however this is how it is done with static entities. Since static entities are the same as the level itself, I imagine the system is the same.

In script file you need place a command : e.g. for metal : code :

materialindex =3

Open a default segment script file for instance that has sound play/bulletholes by default - look also for any entity script file it is associated with and see how this materialindex =(enginevalue) is set up.

The manual I believe has details of the various settings for different materials and you can get them from the script files anyway if you look through them.

^yeah i found the materialindex last night. It's a little unfortunate that in FPSC Segment Kit that you don't directly know which material you've chosen until you test it out.

As for the bulletholes, again, it's that materialindex thing again - just had to assign a value to the walls -_- i should have picked that up.

thanx for helping a n00b out uman =D
