You could try Milkshape, I havent used it my self; but others have made some good stuff with it.

If you have the money, I would say get 3DS MAX; but it wouldnt suit you because you dont know how to model yet.

check http://www.themoviesgame.com you can make movies with it o.O And erm... I used 3DCanvas (NOT PRO) and it was ugly bad I thought (Very very easy to use, but if you tried to create a movie with it the frame rate went to 6fps and I couldn't export models) so using melkshape is working better for me

Why are you talking with no question mark.

Give a man some bullets, and he'll want a gun. Give a man a gun and he'll be giving away the bullets!!

The movies, is simply a computer game....BUT it has some nice little features that you can use for making th movies for your game.

Milkshape is a really easy modeling program, and its good for texturing too

I think that both Cinema 4D and 3D Canvas is very user-friendly and easy to learn.

Another good one is Wings3D. It's free and rather stable. Personally, I also like the fact that most of the modeling tools are available from a dynamic (changes depending on what you are doing) right-click menu. Faster than all that clicking here, clicking there. No animation though.

If it was me, I wouldn't know it.
