The ones we use in the Military are called an M4A1. I believe the one you speak of is the civilian version.

Nah, there is a weapon called the m16.
It has been used in the US army, but i think they use for training these days? Theyre phat rifles...

M16 is the standard assault rifle used by the British SAS. Can be fitted with scope, laser sight, M203 Grenade launcher. Has a thirty round magazine.

I believe the M16 was called the AR-15 in the past. But all of those assault rifles evolved from it.

As i said before the M16 can be fitted with an M203 grenade launcher. If you've played battlefield 2 you'll be familiar with it.

This is going off-topic, but I tell now evryon that the FPS Creator's gun "Commando" is scoped M733 "Commando." And Spetnaz, the gun you you called CAR 15 is XM177.

the AK-47 Jams....alot... My m16 never jams. Th Xm-8 Is taking the m16 place. Burry it, throw it in water, run it over in a tank, the xm-8 kills the ak-47. If your being shot at you want to have anything but the Ak. My buddy had a car-15. Its heavy. The xm-8 it made of plastic ect... by the way Guys Im back from my tour of duty.

They are guns and they kill people.That's waht's important.
Besides,the guns in FPSC don't jam,overheat or fail to work.

I've got to disagree; the AK-47 I shot had been fired continuously all day before I go tmy hands on it...and it still fired flawlessly. My M16 (and SAW) used to Jam all the time; especially if you don't use graphite instead of oil in the desert. My opinion anyways.

Look at vietnam when the M16 was widly used. Marines died because it jammed so much. Vietcong soldiers who were in dire need of a gun or ammo would just completly disregard the weapon due to its habit of jamming constantly.

AK-47's have been found in the Jungles of Vietnam recently that were mearly cleaned slightly and were able to fire as weel as when they were first wielded by the vietcong.

yeah thats history, in nam the m16 they used was crapy but its been 30 years and we use a new model of the m16 now(m16a2)

Yup.

It's being replaced with the XM-29 a much more deadly weapon. [The bullets explode when the target is reached with many fragments going out.]
