hmm ok. can you model a Pedestal?

I need it to be made out of stone, but you dont have to texture it is you dont want to.

the three prongs at the top are to hold a stone, if you can make it look better please do this is just a rough idea.

Try the 3D modelling contests, okay its voting stage, while you wait you could try the current theme, past themes or just look at people's entries/concept art and use that.

Or if you prefer model requests to challenges;

Make a tree, post screenshots once you're done, just so I can crit on it for you, trees are a pain sometimes, which is a good thing to test your skills with

Sorry, don't accept electron (Isn't that annoying? You wanna buy something off the net and electron isn't accepted...)

Tyler: I see, fair enough, I guess it does make it easier to come up with something that way.

I doubt it, its a fair challenge .

Quote: "i'll slip you my last rolo. Even though its my theme"

Dude! Not your last Rolo, ha ha its your loss now, shouldn't have made that bribe with the Rolo...

Character modelling is awkward to start off with, but its a skill that comes with practice, my first characters were unfunny jokes.

lemme know if you want the 3ds file for it, its already textured and everything... screen shot attached

you can use either of the models you asked for, but not the sonic one, cause taht one took soo much time and effort that i might decide to charge for it.... ill post the 3ds in a few minutes, once i either texture it, or give up trying to texture it.

any other requests?? the ones you're asking for are what i like to do..

OK, I have a request. It should be very simple to make but I just can't get my head around modelling software!

What I would like is an extruded equilateral triangle forming a 'toblerone' shape. It is important that the triangle is equilateral but the length can be anything.

I managed to make the object myself in milkshape but what I can't manage is applying textures. I just can't figue it out. So, I would really appreciate it if you could make the object and provide a seperate texture map of anything so that I can assign my own texture.

Thanks

P.S. I must say, having a thread like this is a God-send. Any request for an object is usually met with flames but since you have requested requests, I guess it is ok

I really appreciate the gesture BiggAdd, it is almost exactly what I need but unfortuantely the ends are not equilateral It is important that they are for what I need.

Thanks anyway.

hey uhhh, biggadd, you could make a 3 sided cylinder, that would make the sides all equal.... then do the color thing again..

They Aren't Equalateral??? Thats Odd. i'll Change that for you now.

Tyler.... Yeh i could do. I just assumes the thing i used was equilateral.

he means make a cylinder, and in whatever program you use to determine the number of edges in one loop, set that to 3 and it will automatically be equilateral. I can vouch for you, since i'm a blender man too.

Ok Fixed it now. First time i did it i decided to Use a a Triangle Polygon tool, but i assumed it was equilateral. My Bad.

I knew what Tyler meant.... just diddn't read it right the first time... I thought he was asking for a 3 sided cylinder... And i was confused because its the same thing.

Hey Sett, you kinda need animations and textures, sorry kinda been sorting out some stuff, heck I think I fixed the problem I came across today, but the amount that went into it and has drained my PC dry so it can't test it tonight.

Anyway, I'll try and get you stuff and do you a grass texture.
