Dan,
I would be honored to attempt to animate your guns but I suggest you let Butter fingers do it.
I am okay at gun animating but I don't think I could do your weapons justice.

I offered to animate the weapons but he never sent me the email he said he would send. I don't think these guns are ever going to come out.

The truth is still unknown... or is it!

He said he will release them when he is ready.
He might have other responsibilities that need to come first.

Well I'm just getting a little impatient, it has been a month since he requested animaters and I offered to animate. He even said he would send me an email a while ago regarding the animating.

The truth is still unknown... or is it!

That was you UT. If you need to know my exact plans, firstly I am going to email Avenging Eagle in regard to animating them myself, rather than someone else doing it for me. If this turns out to be a no-go, I will indeed email either FredP or UT. Just because this hasn't been sorted out yet donsn't mean theres nothing going on behind closed doors. And as FredP just said, I have other resposibilities to take care of. I have have important coursework to hand in before friday, which I have only just finished - I would much rather sort out my education and disapoint you lot, rather than fail, and be living like a slob.
I sincerely hope you all understand, I have not given up on this, I would like to learn myself, so I can release stuff just to be nice...
Yours as always,
Dan.

Well I'm not impatient, I don't see why he has to have dealines. I hate impatient spammers.

Here we are.
Video of the AK47 - Animated, textured... Working! Really pleased with this, as its my first weapon in FPSC. Ill post the download soon, to get some feedback. Ignore the quality of footage - 120MB down to 3MB cant do it much good.
Yours,
Dan.

Edit: No muzzleflash, though - Cant seem to get that working.

Good job.

Here's the Famas video. This Famas has a burst fire animation, and sound.
I can assure you the sounds are perfectly synced - Its just fraps being the annoying little fool it always is. Anyway - I have come accross a problem... Whenever I reload, it plays the "fire" sound. Is there any reason for this? I shall post a screenshot of my gunspec in a post, next.
Also, is there a way to actualy fire two bullets at once, so the ammo is taken off twice?

an RPG would be pretty cool to include in the pack.

I actually hope he didn't. Sometimes I like to put a little work in my game. It's not like it's hard to make a pickup anyways. Do one gun in like 30 seconds on the cruddy entity maker the TGC gave us.

I wouldn't mind the pickups but I think it's greedy for you guys to ask (for those that did).
Smitho obviously has put a lot of time and effort into making these weapons and if he doesn't include the pickups then you can make your own.
Instead of being grateful that you get something for nothing you start adding on requests such as this...
One of the reasons that a lot of the good stuff isn't being posted/will not be free around here any more.
We have some newer forum members that are making models for free but even they will tire of this attitude shortly.
It a new year...let's try a new approach to free stuff.
