Hey all!

I'm having a problem with my current model. I built a 3d model of a human in wings 3d, and then imported in into milkshape for texturing, animating, etc. The animation works beautifully in milkshape, but when I animate it in my program, instead of stretching, the mesh splits, as in this picture:

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I honestly don't know what the problem could be, me being a master at Milkshape and all

Maybe it's your exporting technique.

are you over stretching the polys in the motion?
are all the polys welded together>?
have you assinged the correct polys to the joints and bones?
do you have polys in the joints of the model that are designed to stretch accordingly to the area at hand?

@indi

Thanks for the input. I'll check all that stuff to see if my problem lies therein. Thanks!

you say it works perfectly in milkshape so my guess is that your polys become facing away from you in milkshape so the default cull in dbpro makes it so you dont see the facing away faces try using set object cull

yea check which way the normals are facing, make sure you have no black faces in milkshape, so put it to flat shaded to inspect.
