Is it just me or do shaders not work in the SDK? The same code I used in DBP using shaders converted over to work in the SDK does not work. I cant seem to get any of the shaders working.

I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do. ~Hal-9000

They should be working so far with DGDK 1.6.2c

But make sure you have installed properly latest DirectX SDK (June 2006 works fine).

That's really strange João... if you compile the FX sample that comes with the GDK using 1.6.2 does it not work and display the 4 objects?

I have vague plans for World Domination

Yep, we have shaders working here, so maybe it is a silly question, but have you checked compiler paths for include/libs? Must be something like that.

Its strange, but some shaders work and some do not!

the old pocean shader works (and looks gorgous with a few mods ) but evolved's fresnel water shader causes it to bomb out completly in xmemory. Some shaders do what they say on the tin, some bomb it and some just make objects disapear. At least, thats my experiance so far!

Any clues so far?

Maybe this is a ghost object related issue?

I mean that maybe the shaders that ghost objects are the ones that do not work properly.

I use one for my space nebulae and I can't say that they look the same as before

@Sephnroth:

The old pocean shader works?

Where can I download the old version?
