Milkshape looks like it has really crappy quality. I thought about getting it at first....but then I decided I would take the time to learn Blender.

Worth every hour...

milkshape is THE program for making models for Quake and HL derivatives. My bestest friend when it comes to import/export.

Yes yes, milkshape is definetly not crap. Some people say quality overcomes quantity. Well, milkshape has both. Freaking loads of tools including a poly reducer, model statistics, and a bunch of crazy-ass tools that you wouldn't even imagine.

Plus rigging and animating in this baby is easier than any program out there (IMHO)

Well then this is all opinion then. I just chose Blender because of the community support and the power it has.
