All that says is that you can't sell or redistribute the textures as originals, or "modified" variations. If you couldn't sell models/media that use these textures in commercial work, then Companies like Electronic Arts are going to have a major recall of all their games. I see Team 17 on that list as well; they must have used it in their Worms Series.
Unless you're seeing something different than I am, Indi, then I stand by my original assertion. Who is going to pay that kind of money for textures that can be used in personal work only (other than the occassional hobbyist)?
I see people coming on with pirated media all the time on the FPSC forums; but I still have to look up the source (if there is one), and verify it carefully before posting in reference to the legitimacy of the author's work. It is time-draining to look up each potential infraction; but it is much worse to condemn someone who is honestly trying to do business with a community that is
always in need of good art/scripts/programs.
I say again, according to the EULA presented, and the Company list presented on the Total Textures site; commercial use of these textures
is allowed.
