MS Paint and the print screen button on your keyboard. Just remember to save it in a format like .jpg or .png NOT .bmp or you could just render the image and save it off.

you don't, what you do is, open up MS Paint, go into your 3D modelling program, press the 'prtSc' or 'Print Screen' button (however it looks on your keyboard) when in your 3D modelling program, it will create a print of your entire screen and send it to the clipboard, where you can paste it as an image in MSPaint, then you can cut out which bit of the screen you want from there

Ofcourse, people said not to save it as a BMP, so it'd only make sense to save it as a BMP. Right?

Hey easy on him, he's pretty new...

I'd say that's a pretty good model for your first. Especially in blender, I never could figure that program out. Keep trying new stuff and learning, and make sure to explore the different modelling methods that you can use. Good luck!

please save as a jpg next time, paint will allow you to save as jpeg.

its a good start for a limbed based model, with new features coming in computer games in regards to physics and so forth will be great as your gun could literally break apart if it was hit by fire etc..

Currently in the game industry however things have been moved over to one limb making up the whole gun, this method is just as valid for speed issues etc..

The limbed method died off a little while ago but for certain aspects with new features it will make a comeback.
