Hey all! For the past few days on and off, I've been working on a model of a futuristic soldier in milkshape 3d. Currently it's not textured, but it is colored. What's left is to create hands and to texture. Currently the soldier is at 1049 triangles, I don't know how that translates into polys . Anyways, I just wanted to post it and get some feedback. Any suggestions? Thanks!

He's skinny for a soldier. Maybe not a highschool student, but definetly skinny for a soldier. :P

Troy Hurtubise is at it again. First the bear suit, now a full body exoskeleton suit which draws resemblance to our favorite game Halo.

maybe you can use this as a sort of reference...

Haha yeah, now that I look at it, I see what you mean. I guess spending half my day in highschool wouldn't help too much . I'll fatten him up a bit.

@Indigo
lol if that's the future I think I'd rather stick in the present for the moment

Thanks for the input guys!

Allright (sorry for the double post), I tried to fatten him up a bit. I also added his hands and did a little more touch-up work. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Allright, he's had a bit of a style change - yes the sword may seem strange, but just deal with it . It's just a concept I'm working with. What do you guys think?

It's alot better than the first screenie :P

I'd say work on his torso a bit more, and the jaw shouldn't be so upward like that imo. o.O Pull it down lower and make it more blockey, but keep the bottom of the visor where it is.

Haha yeah I guess there's a little too much Halo semblance in the helmet . I've got some ideas for other helmets, so I think I should probably look into those a bit

@Image All
Thanks for the input! But about the jaw - the helmet has some projections on the side, and with the helmet dark the way it is atm, it's kinda hard to see, and so it kinda looks like the jaw - see other pictures, the helmet hasn't been modified
