I have purchased Milkshape 3D and I've been searching for information about using it in DarkBasic Classic. I do know how to make models, but from what I have been reading I cannot export my animations from MS3D to DBC. Is this true?

I'm still a little confused about the process of making an animated 3d model for use in DBC. From what I understand you make a model, UV map it, and then animate it. Is that the correct process?

To me it seems like some 3D model Apps allow only one or fewer options. Some programs allow to make a model, but not UV map it, and then some you can make an animation but not export to DBC. I'm basically just trying to find a process to accomplish getting an animated model (ex. person walking) into DBC from MS3D if possible.

Thanks for the time

Milkshape can export .x files, which should work in DBC. To export your model, go to file->export->DirectX(JT)

For help with animation, check out Psionic's tutorials (scroll down to milkshape tutorials. The zombie 1-3 tutorials are pretty good. Good luck!
