Hello,

Could somebody please explain what v2 has that v1 doesn't or provide a link to where I can find the information because I can't find it.

Thanks

Thanks

The kickstarter link was useful

There is a mention of .x support for 3D models but as a DBP user most of my models are in .dbo format - is that supported?

Not yet... still waiting on 3D. Well I'm not but a lot of users are. I prefer 2D anyway these days.

Welcome to the party

The choice is a no-brainer if you don't have AppGameKit yet - get AppGameKit V2. Even if you never use the extra coding features, the IDE alone is the deal-breaker. It is similar to codesurge for DBP, whereas V1 IDE was a step back in time.

Is there any way to get AppGameKit v2?

I see that the Kickstarter page is now closed. So is my only option to wait until it is officially released?

Hey BatVink, I pledged Bronze months ago. How do I get the badge for it?

Hi Mike, it would be good to see a Fantom engine for AppGameKit at some point in the future!

Hi Bigsofty. Never saw your nick on the OTHER side.

But yes, I am working on a similar thing. Ported already a good portion of the ftObject class.

I took your advice BatVink. I've ordered AppGameKit v2.
However, it's been over 24 hours since I placed my order and it is still showing as "Awaiting Approval".

What's the hold up?
Online bank transactions are instant and as the product is a download, shouldn't that also be available instantly?

Who or what is it that needs to approve this and why?

Scraggle, I don't think the guys at TGC Towers work at the weekend. As far as I know they manually approve orders because of the volume of fraudulent transactions.

It's OK, it came through shortly after my post.
Seems like a very old fashioned way to work though.
