Hi guys, it's been a while. Time for some replies...
First of all, Entity Workshop won't be covering Segments. You can of course create segment sized entities, but there won't be any official segment support. I might go back and touch up the No Frills Segment creator at a later date.

Cheers for the kind words
Workshop is designed to be a quick tool for entity creation and exporting. It won't support segments and currently it doesn't have some of the more advanced export options, unlike MagicFPS, which is a complete solution to custom content creation.
Dr Distracto:
Hehe, thank you! I'm glad you like what i do. Hopefully a demo of Beyond Life will be released when TGC upload the TGC/Nvidia compo entries.
I'm going to create a mini-site for Workshop. Not sure about a complete site revamp though..... maybe when i get the time.
Thanks for your other suggestions
Right Back to the program....
Currently ALL of the features are in place. Remember what I said a few posts back, about predicting scale problems when importing user meshes ? Well it happened, but I created a fix. Entity templates are scaled differently to other meshes ( long story involving Milkshape and Cinema ), so I created a new button. The
FPSC ENTITY IMPORT button allows you to import/edit/export FPSC models, maintaining the same scale attributes.
With this tool, developers can import their own models and edit them in exactly the same way as an Entity Template. Users can also import models from the FPSC model packs, change their appearance, then throw them back into FPSC.
Turning something old into something new:
Here is an old friend from the SciFi stock:
I change the scale values, texture, UV size and position:
I export into FPSC with 2 mouse clicks:
