Got stuck in the area that they are shooting at me (no weapons?); and the part where you jump into the vent on the ceiling towards the beginning was almost impossible...

This game is intentionally built like that.
There is a gun, you just have to search for it.
In reality, there probably wont be firearms just lying
everywhere. Also, it can take 5 minutes to stack the
boxes and get in the vent. It's trial and error.

But, like you said, no weapons... You haven't looked hard enough.

**The game was built on 0 contrast with my computer screen.
If you need more light, then turn up your contrast.
I built it viewing it at 0 contrast though.

Ah; I tried to pick up boxes, but failed to do so...I'll try again. I'll try again on the weapon as well. FR is good on my comp.

You pick up the boxes with right click.
Its the standard buttons. If I said otherwise,
that was my bad. Sorry about that.

I'm used to using the "T" button to pick things up in FPSC. Perhaps you should include a controls section in the download?

The controls are listed in the README file.
I thought people would look there before they played. lol
My bad. Its just that I didn't have room on the loading screen
for it and so, I just placed it in the ReadMe.

Its a good day to do what has to be done by me and help my brother to defeat the enemies

Yup...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

Since this is probably the most logical place to put it, is there any interest for me remaking Emergence: Infiltration? I have a couple of good ideas for a remake, and was wondering if anyone would be interested if I do.

Double post... I know... But I do have a screenshot. Due to KeithC's interest on another thread, I've decided to go through with remaking Emergence.

Well, as you all know, I'm still working on Physix, but I won't have anything really worth presenting until shortly after it hits the market... we're shooting for late November completion, mid-December beta and early January sales... It's still up in the air though. Even so, I'd still have to wait for GP to do their marketing stuff anyway. It's definitely gonna be submitted... eventually

I do, but I most likely won't have a demo out until the end of November. Is a demo enough to earn the BOTB status, if the game itself is not yet finished?

Yes; a demo is enough. As long as it's a finished demo, and not something "tossed" together.

As mentioned in an email to you before I will try to get the project's Demo ready for mid/end novemember but I won't be rushing it as then it simply won't get the polish it deserves so it's really 'if its done, it will be submitted' =)

Also Kraven, which demo would this before? I do love your work so what ever it is, I'll now I'll be downloading any demo for it.

I've got LV21 in the works right now. It's gotten a lot of good reviews, although no direct inferences to BotB.

Here's the link.

Can you save the crew of LV21?

@Keith, sounds good. Expect a demo from me on the 31st of this month.

@Talairina, thanks! I haven't posted a WIP for the game I plan on submitting yet, but you can see the early stages of the first chapter in this video

Just thought I'd inform you that the following downloads on that thread are broken:

Anderson & the Legacy of Cthulhu (Most of the download links for the English demo seem to be broken, though I managed to download it slowly from the USA server)

Spiderz (File unavailable)

Darkest Island (File unavailable)

Demon Sun (Server not found)

I've downloaded the others and I'm going to give them a try soon. It's been a while since I've played any FPSC games so it'll be interesting to see what the best of the best are like.

Thanks Ben; I'm going to be creating a "Legacy" BOTB thread, for the entries that are no longer valid (no valid download link).

I look forward to your results!

Nice! Congrats for rolfy! The game was really good! I loved it. I hope someday I can play the second Eldora. There was one funny bug still. I had very low energy, but it didn't say "You didn't make it" yet. So I was walking down the stairs and the stair bug came, and it started saying "You didn't make it" even thou I didn't die. I grabbed a health thingy and I got recovered. LoL. But the game was really good! I loved it! And I survived extremely long in the wolfbay. I even got out of the room! Then I ran out of ammo and ran around, went back to the room and got killed.

But it was nice! Everyone should try it out!
