That's on the outside. I think you'll see it a lot sooner, but they have to play it safe on the time quote.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

You need an 8800 cause X10 is a power freak. It'll lag with your card.

Actually 8600 is enough to play FPSCx10 with most stuff on, it's the memory that makes the difference. 256MB version is surelly going to give you some framerate issues if everything is set ON and to their highest level, 512MB and above shouldn't have much problems.

Next you'd like to make sure you have enough RAM memory. I'd recommend 2GB or more, since Vista already consumes 1 gig alone. Also a good duo/quadro processor helps alot.

@ TGC,

This is going to sound a lame question to the hardcore FPS bods but could you create an 'action rpg' with this ie. with more than a few stats, loadable/viewable armour etc?

a long time dabbler with DBC and DBPro with no actual talent but lots of enthusiasm...

Without lots of source code editing that'll be not possible. At best you could create a fantasy-themed game with a first-person view.

If you don't have vista then how in the world do you even run FPSC X10, since it's written for Vista? If you don't have a DX10 card then how do you even get it to start up, since it runs in DX10 only? Somehow your post doesn't make sense at all, you're sure your talking about X10 and not FPSC V1?

At least that's what TGC says.....

What if you are an adult?
Maybe you can still post after drinking a fifth of hard liquor...never tried it myself.
