3ds Max as RUCCUS pointed out.
Quote: "By the way Dark coder are you texturing that model"
I am, I UV mapped it yesterday, well the main chassis at least.
Quote: "and how did you get that great detail? Most of my models have like no detail at all....."
If that's aimed at me then I usually model the base hull/chassis of a ship and find bare patches with no detail and just add random things until there aren't any/many such areas, of course this isn't always practical for game models, not to mention texturing such large amounts of small items is quite annoying :p.
Quote: "Did you model all of those little extra things and just set them on the ship?"
I did for the guns as they are all the same, but the rest usually started from a rectangle or some other primitive, placed on the hull and extruded and what not to make it look different.

It's a nice design but your renders with the specular highlighting really show the flat surfaces, if you added some form of bump mapping then the panelling would look more convincing. Also your engines while they are flat, you could do something to make it look as if they aren't, such as adding an engine glow that masks the engines slightly so you can't easily see that they are flat(nothing too excessive). Also the wings with the cannons mounted on could use more fine texture detail, they just look like they're painted with a solid colour whereas the main hull has a lot of panelling/armour? which doesn't seem to make sense as you'd want to armour your main weapons quite well, especially when they are so large :p. Though the texture makes it look far better than the untextured pics make it out to be.
Anyway don't expect any updates for at least a few days as I'm quite busy and texturing such a ship will take a while, to say the least.
