I'm glad you like 'em guys. Well, I've made up my feeble little mind, and plan to create a full blown Cosmic Horror Pack next. I'll get started on it after the new year, and it should be ready in few weeks.

So be on the lookout. I'm going to get gruesome on this one!

Cosmic: Not to be a bother, but would you perhaps upload .zip versions as well? My PC doesn't like .rar for some reason.

Try FPC files.com he hosts my packs as well, and I think he uses zip.

If not, Go here: href]http://www.win-rar.com/downloadnow.html[/href]

Okay, I cannot figure out how to extract the files into the FPSC/Files folder.

I'm not too keen with .rar.

Extract everything to your desktop. look inside the folders you'll see the entitybank, segments, etc. folders. copy those to the files directory inside FPSC. When asked to replace answer yes.

Do the same with the contents of the folder named files.

That all there is to it. Enjoy!

the pack seems awesome and its great work, but since i installed it whenever i try to run fpsc i get a runtime error:
"Runtime Error 506 - Could not load image at line 3525"

then after about 20-30 seconds i get this error:
"The application has encountered a problem and needs to close. Extra Debug Info: 0 0"

don't know if you encountered this or know how to fix it.

I've just noticed that this pack gives more quality and quantity than any of the model packs... You've actually given all us scifi designers EXACTLY what we need. Thank you so much.

DSniper: Hmmm, It might be you didnt install something properly. When the editer is trying to load, it cant find something, or something is in the wrong place, and is crashing. try removing all the new sci-fi folders from the CosmicProphet folders, and reinstall carefully. Read above for instucions.

Thanks.

Butt monkey: Your very welcome, So far this is only parts 1 & 2. Parts 3 & 4 are still to come in 2009. Also,Be sure to keep your eyes open for my new Horror Pack as well, It's going to be HUGE!

Cosmic, I seem to get these errors with your "Custom" Segments. I extracted and placed the segments into the segments folder, but whenever i try to put the custom ones in game i get this error:

Runtime Error 7001 - mesh number illegal at line 10147.

Any advice?

Also, your Room segments come up completely white. I deleted your old segment folder from mega pack 1 too just so ya know.

Thanks Heltor, that was my next suggestion.

Krowsnest: Make sure you have copied the meshbank, and texturebank folders as well. It all has to be there for everything to work.

The meshbank, scriptbank, gamecore folders are inside the "Files" download.

cram: Thanks for testing. The open floor seg- There are 2. one is a seg, the other an entity, use the entity,it works better. I meant to delete that segment, overlooked it.

I'm on the rest, will have any fixes done shortly, and will post.

Again, Sorry guys, there was just sooooo much stuff it was easy to miss some things. I'll get it done ASAP. Thanks!.

Weasel: The scripts I used were copied, and altered from a different entity( not sure which), I suck at scripting, but I'm learning a little as I go. Those entries can most likely be deleted. I guess I need to hire a scriptor for Part 3!

Fleet Crafter: rechecked the downloads, they're all working. If you cant get them from Mediafire, Try FPSFiles.com They are available there as well.

Hey guys, I need some help. I can't download CP's amazing work because I can't download .rar files, and I need to know a reliable program that you guys use. Please [b]DONT SUGGEST WINRAR, IT DOES NOT WORK FOR ME.

WinRAR. Everybody uses it, why doesn't it work for you?

Failing that, use 7zip. http://www.7-zip.org/

When I downloaded WinRAR, it allowed me to download .rars, but I couldn't extract the .rar OR any of my .zip files.

Thanks for the alternate though Toasty.

7zip is a better compression tool. It's free and more archivers can extract it. I personally always compress my things using 7zip.

Downloaded 7zip, downloaded CP's stuff, extracted, works like a charm. Very simple to use, and isn't as intrusive as winRAR. Thanks for your replies everyone.

CP, which version of FPSC is this pack optimized for?

I'm running on X9 V1 because I can't get any of the others, and some of the items textures won't load.

Ex: All of the segments, water generator, etc.

I have Vista! I'm sorry! *Cries in corner*

I'm specticle of trying one of the "X9 and X10-at-once-schemes".

Really, I can't do anything about it until V2 HOPEFULLY this year, whenever Lee gets back.
