I'd like to be a judge if it's at all possible. I don't know if it's too late to apply for the position though...

Just to clear things up and so that nobody gets the wrong impression, could you please explain what Jason/The Next's non-constructive post contained, or else provide a link? Many users seem have the wrong idea of what happened and I'm sure seeing what he posted that deserved a weeks' IP ban would clear things up for everyone and allow the topic to rest.

AFFF i just had to scrap my lev coz it wasent that scary (yes everyone i am a judge but i just want the 1 entity) btw is sci-fi horror alright for the entity?

If you are a judge you cant mark your own entry.

And yeh SCI-FI Horror is ok it still has scifi in it but make sure you dont go to far off into the horror theme of things.

I am geting INTENSE lag because FPSC is hogging my memory up trying to create my game. I reduced the lightmapquality to 25 but it still doesn't have any difference. I might have to stop if the engine isn't stable enough .

That means a model is damaged try working out which one it is and just remove it from the game will most likely be a custom one.

CND gamemakers: Are you using a mod with the latest FPSC? If so, my suggestion would be to downgrade to 1.09. Another trick is to run the FPS Creator cleaner.

Upgrade to the latest version without any mods and then run the bin and dbo cleaner after the updater has finished that usally will fix any issues with corrupt models. If not do what i said before and remove any damaged custom models as they can also give that error.

I would like to join, given that I manage to finish to the deadline.
One question:
Will a hub level (a smaller area which you visit several times again during the game) count as level each time you visit it or (as I hope and expect) count as one level despite the fact that it must be included in the level queue as often as it is used in the game?
This is crucial to my games' level design plan so I need to know this in the next days, if possible...

Thanks for adding me, and glad you accept the hub idea. With plys mod it could have been pulled off with the "next level" command, hope a similar command comes to the official Version also some time.

Im new to using FPS and getting use to all the ins and outs but this sounds like a bit of fun I think I'll give the competition a wack. Might need some help though in finding somewhere I can store my comp entry for downloading as I not got anything organised either way I love FPS creator and hey who knows a newbie might do something right. Yes guys I realise I am proberbly up against some pretty staunch competition but what the hey if I lose atleast I tried.

IF it can be done on a computer I'll try it.

X10 User- As a judge, I have downloaded your game. There apperas to be an error.

When I start the "Game", I chose the tanks I wanted. Then, The tanks appear. If I hit ANY key, they vanish. I did read your read me...
