Dog dead........

Lastest toy, Playing around with more low poly stuff, i was playing with some animation rigs and i made this for a test on it.
( the actualy model ( not this one) kicks ar## so far, but i wanted to get the skeleton sorted for the others too,)
The rigs have been striped since i plan on using them alot, Its sort of a attempt of a universal rigging, it works, anyway so heres the mesh. Its looks meesy but its surpisingly animates well, the head neesd so work as i got slighty lazy with the poly displacment, so i left them without tidying them up...

its a 206kb dl no worries thier, the poly count is just under 1k easily knocked back to 700polies if need be,
Note; if i didnt make clear above the rig has been stripped and what your Dl is the mesh, do what you will with it, usual no false claims ect, though if you heavily edit beyond reconition then go for really,

have fun with it, i did, and it played nice so i thought id share.

cheers -
cb

Dogs are always messy first time around.

Start with the head and try doing it polygonal, you can get a really good head that way.

strong opening is always good, this is my next model, well i plan, fine i hope to make this gun soon,

The first time i sdeen it was when i bought my S-m6 air-rifle, when i bought it my friend bet me £60 to shoot myself, so i did and got the gun for free, couldnt sit down for a few days though, my friend being an anima nut waqs watching '//ghost in the shell?//' and recognised this, so i thought id make it for him to say thank you for my weapon, pic attached,

anyho, am going to work on this, as everything i do as soon as it turns into a anooyance, ill upload what ive done lol

@lazerus- Very nice Gun. I love the plastic look of the material.

I recently just bought a 2 pack of Lazer Tag guns and this is similar.

Another person that's finished exams . So that's Me, the_rami and lazerus, from my immediate memory.

I think you should do a metal thing for the gun, maybe adding a few variations. I could do a sketch for you if you want .

Okay so ive rekindeled my love for swords after i seen the valerian heart, (the last remmenant-game)

so ive started work on my own version of one, Though i have a quick question, i always try and make a model out of a single mesh but this sword has a pattern on it that will make it very heard to reproduce with one mesh, i would ethier need n'gons or bevel's to make it work, or i could save a little time and take the easy route of using a sperate mesh.

any thoughts on the matter?
crappy pic attached of what i mean...

This sword will make up for that,
I changed the design alot to suit well my style,
low poly of course at 624quads
free as usual

.obj .3ds .max included, no uv though

have fun.

Any requests?, am going to start models ready for the 3d resource thread, so anything needed from me just ask here for now.

I havn't posted any of my works in a while so i thought id share some of my lastest bordem doodels.

Iam finding myself stretched with work yanking me in all directions lol. I finally had some time to create a half decent base mesh, along with a sculpted version, the orginal mesh was 500 polyies, and the sculpted is 129,000 but thats just going to be a normal map, I also need to retopo after the sculpt, so the usual. Ive spent about 1 hour working aon this in total, including the base mesh. I am going to work on it longer tonight so ill keep it upto date with a hopefully finished normal. The arms along with the legs and some parts of the upper chest still working over, especially with the pattern work, trying to get it quite intrecut.
I plan on this to be a human mecha type deal, thier always fun. I was insipred by the Dom war entries and a old shader demo i found. on the forums.

As always crit is welcome.

I think 4 posts in a row will be enough,

Heres the orginal base mesh and a updated sculpt
