I have now begun adding a new feature. you can now shoot off limbs of the enemy!


Thanks to some useful Dark Basic code books, i am adding a heightmap terrain system, so you can have terrain.


You guys are lucky this mod is free!!!!

There is many more surprises, but i will leave it at that.

One word... Amazing

This is exactly what i was looking for, just a mod that speeds up the game, dosn't even have to do anything else, but the extra features are a bonus. I know a lot of work went into this so thanks for releasing this

Ok i do have one bug report, I'm using scripts that alter the ambience when you enter a zone. Well, that's important for the game I'm doing and for some reason, using this, the mod seems to override my ambience making everything darker, i don't mean consistently, i mean it's like a little boy flipping a light switch on and off laughing giddily the whole time

If you could help with this? does it have to do with the FOV or something?

Aside from that, great mod, great speeds, exactly what was needed

I'd imagine your problem is because you are using V1.09. Upgrade to V1.15 and see if that helps.

Very, very nice work here Apple Slicer and very generous. Tested it on an existing level of mine and saw a 100% speed increase across the level.

The only thing I didn't like is the Z key replacing the right click to zoom, I found it easier and more in line with other engines to stick with mouse click. Maybe you could have an FPI command to set the key, say REPLACEZOOMKEY scancode, otherwise leave it as the right click.

Eeek! This mod gives an error something like this: "Can't find d3dx_35.dll"
Or something similar...
I haven't tried other mods, though.

hmmm... i just got an error, i'm going to retry, it's a new error, so i'm going to try with another level.

right, i've checked it out, i get this when i try to pick up errant ai's g36c weapon (in game). attached is a screenshot of the error, i'm going to re-download the g36c and see if it clears it up.

it didn't. still the same error. any reasons?

right, so far it only seems to be the g36c that i'm getting this problem with, probebly not related to the mod then. also, does this mod have airmod 0.6 in it? on your original thread you said it did, but i can't get any ironsights up. (yes i pressed the "z" key.

Hi! I install the 1.15 update but I have a problem.When I test a game and I pick up a weapon I get a error:

Runtime Error 118-Array does not exist or array subscript out of bounds at line 15067

you obviously haven't read my post... i had exactly the same error, with a screenshot. is it errant ai's g36c by any chance? so far that's the only weapon it's not working with me for.

Now it works, for me. And it sure gives better fps.
Hmmm, but how does the "shooting limbs off" thing work? Because I shot a Dante Beast like hundred times, but no limbs were shot off. Or does it only work for stock characters or something?

The hell! Over one night you have begun production on apple juice again, and as usual adding crazy things to it ! Great to hear !

Love the limb feature reminds me of dark space.

Your still using that as reference right? So the air lock door and all that will get intergrated?

Also will the rest of your "additions" get added into this one that were supposed to go into wizmod? Im not going to mention anything tho but even if you deleted your source code and all your previous work im sure you'll intergrate the important ones.

This mod will NOT be open source...at least, that is not to plan.


Anyways, I have been working on the stability of the mod, and have been adding some more features.

New Features
More script commands
Smarter AI
Double jumping (scripting)
Rachet and Clank style parachuting.
Melee by a key (like f key hits with a punch)
Lens Flare/Glare
weapon swapping


More, but not until i am sure they are possible.

The next update will include faster fps, and stabilty. I may also be adding some new commands.

faster fps? It's already fast , how can it be faster? lol

Oh, is there a command/solution to the mod picking it's own ambience? Whatever ambience level i have it set too, it lowers it, and changes the fog color.

Another bug, very minor but, shells coming out of guns like the mp40, the shells tend to fly in slow-mo or go no-gravity and fly around lol. Just lettin you know, like i said it's very minor

I get that too on all the stock weapons. Haven't tried the model packs because I don't have them installed on this computer.

That is a very odd error. Nothing I have changed in this version should've messed that up.

Try with the stock 1.15 exe...


EDIT: I AM going to try to get the airmod .6 working when i can. But its a big time consuming thing to add.

I have succesfully increased the framerate by 50. I am still working on the speed, framerate is everything to me.

50!? Wow! That's insane, not only is FPS, but loading times (as you said ) And also the EXE build times are shortened, for me anyways

I am loving this mod, but it's a shame you're leaving

Yes...I havent really spilled the beans on the loading times i have worked on lately.


I think this mod will be just a tad slower then the fastest mod available. Project Blue. Great mod. Great speed.

Seems like when i build with any more than 2 levels, it crashes, I haven't fully confirmed it but but that seems to happen a lot for me

Hmm. I wasnt having issues with the building of the game. i was having issues with built games...the player spawns away from the player start marker.

I built 2 levels with Full Lightmaps, Full Shaders, and High Detail and everything seemed to worked "fine".

Fine as in 1 character didn't fully render and 3-5 others where being dumb minded or wouldn't follow there AI script, but hey my computer may be causing that to happen and not the mod.
