theK and god games are down to test already. I'm thinking gladiator battle between adrianno jones wannabe and outdoor gamer. actually, I'll just replace jacob with one of you. he plays too many mainstream games to give an effective report.

me: d'you like it?
him: I hated it!
me: well why?
him: It wasn't as good as soldier front.
me: it's not online multiplayer
him: then it sucks
me: *twitchy* but bt bit but you I what but is this I don't

yeah. so the updated list is:

theK
god games
outdoor gamer
cyberdude
adrianno jones wannabe

needless to say you'll all be getting a free copy.

any of you who never gets less than 30 FPS throughout:

tell me, so I can update the system specs.

minimum is:

pentium 4 or alike, 2.40 ghz
1 gb ram
no special graphics card needed. integrated works fine.

reccommended is:

*whoever's computer runs it at 30 fps or higher the whole time*

=======================

p.s. will any of you add me on skype? it's much easier to talk about the game when we can do it instantly.

isaacpreston- you all know that.

p.p.s. I won't be building level 7 until I get my amazing new comp. so beta testing will be done level by level.

Hey, sorry dude for not posting, but I was away for the weekend! Now, that I am back, I gotta say that I like your screens. And I had a go at the cover art thing´. I hope you'll like it. God Game's one was good, but there was one thing that cought my eye. It said (my home country)(lol) on the back. Or something like that, but the text was copied, so you know what it said. But it was good thou. Excepth that text on the orinnge back, didn't really work. MY OPINION!!! I can also do the menu. But tell me if you like my cover there. I hope to play this soon! I olso wish, that you will make great money with this!

metal devil, although there were numerous grammar errors, that tied with theK. I think I'll use theK's for the website, and yours for the games box art.

where can I get game boxes?

I have about 30 PS2 game cases. maybe if I remove all of their art, and replace them, I can make them into WWC cases.

as for you metal devil, If you want, I'll add you as a beta tester.

also, if you can send me a .psd for that to edit? if thats ok with you. get skype if you want to discuss.

@outdoor gamer: glad we got that joker *empty spot* off of the roster. he didn't belong there anyway.

theK
god games
outdoor gamer
cyberdude
adrianno jones wannabe
metal devil 123 (if he wants)

aight. I'm not accepting any more game covers, (unless you were already making one) we've got testers, now it's time to finish this project. an edited version of metal devils cover will suit the game nicely, our website, impload.webs.com will feature theK's (we'll make a thread full of pics for only the finished game)
(go to the site to see 3 exclusive screens)
and I'll make a little booklet to go in the game pakaging.

also, my new computer is being shipped

intel e8400 core 2 duo 3.0 ghz (dual core)
2 GB ram
dual XfX geforce 9800 graphics cards running in SLI
totally awesome speakers (gunshots are loud and punchy)
MSI P7N motherboard

Ofcousce I want to be a beta tester! If you want specs, then could you tell me how to check them, as I never had to check them before! And I think I remember a place where to get cases for a very low price. I will put you a link here if you want!

EDIT*
http://kunaki.com/Home.asp?cc=
That is teh site I was talking about. It's a very good price, if you are selling your game with a higher price than a dollar or two. And I think you might have actually seen this before, cause I favourited this from Chidem't "Thinking of selling FPSC Games" thread (or the name was something like that), and you have been around htere a lot, so you propably saw it. But just remind you!

If you want anything else, then just tell. I am happy to help ta fellow developer! I hope you will do good selling and if you do, tell me some tips, as I am doing a commercial game too! I hope you have a great day! Good night (for me, I don't know if it's night in htere)!

thanks. can you either send me a .psd or edit the game cover? I've got a few ticks with it. (grammar and the like)

also, if you can, pls get skype. if not, it's ok, but it would be helpful.

I'll give you all the selling tips you need and whatnot. I've also decided to use my PS2 game cases, as they fit your cover design best. if I sell more than that, which would be wildly successful, I'll consider that site.

also, a publisher and digital distribution would be nice. any suggestions?

I also noticed some spelling errors! Will fix them after school! What's a .psd? And I might get Skype, but I am not really into Skype and Internet Calls or that kinda things, as my mom uses Skype, and I usually call to my grandmother with mom's Skype.

oh, well I use skype to text chat with ppl.

I thought you did that in photoshop, anyways, there were numerous gsentence structure errors, and If I ever expect to see that on the shelf of my home town game store (or any game store for that matter, mine doesn't sell pc games) then I need to have a few things changed, and a few things moved to different places, or taken off entirely.

lol, yeah. I know, I am not so good at writing in english and I will try to do it again. Maby I'll go with the tactic that god games went with.

Ok, so I totally remade it, as I thought it didn't look so good back then. It's not perfect now, but it's a start... A new start. I will do improvements in it, but now I am going to eat, so I'll update you later, Bugsy, Ok. I got skype, to chat and stuff, but my mic is broken, so I can't really talk, is that Ok? I don't think it needs one. black and red is enticing. maybe add that red planet behind seth and mia, put a border around the specs, and replace the rating, and "A FPSC game" with the reccomended system specs.

Ok, I will Bugsy, thanks!

EDIT* What's the recommended? I was looking at your post and it said "everyone who can run it 30fps all the time" or something like that.

EDIT 2* Ok, I did the planet thingy and all, but I still don't know what's recommended. I will add it to the empty spot there next to minimum requirements. Thanks for responding. I attached the new cover, that is not ready even yet!

EDIT 3*Oh, and I need to ask, what kinda aliens are in this game? Maby I'll hide a semi transparent alien or alien face somewhere in the cover, like you know what I mean, unless you like it better this way!

1. reccomended specs will be:
dual core processor, 3.0 ghz
2 GB ram
GeForce 8600gt or alike
windows XP

2. I meant the shadowed red planet that was on the original cover. that's the planet I want to see.

3. there are no aliens in this game. there may not even be any in the sequel.

I will send you a logo to put on the front, keep bugsy there, though.

the beta will be available soon. when I get my new computer, put my old hard drive in, and build the levels. I'll build level by level, and you will get back to me (hopefully by skype) about any glitches, level design flaws, frame rate, and time taken to complete the map. also how many times you died.

here are the images for the cover.

ImpLoad logo:

ImpLoad is my game company. join our site. this is the logo that should go on the front page (left side, near bugsy). write "ImpLoad" underneath it

Rating logo (goes on front cover)

I went out and got a proper official rating. place this on the right side of the front cover

edit- it appears that these aren't showing up because no image site wants to let me post my image, and my computer hates imageflock. (hint: IT IS NOT AN ATTACK SITE!!!!!!!!)

I'll just double post and attach them

this one's the ratings

It should be. Let me check and I'll tell you! If not, I'll resize. If it's not the right size, I hope it's too big, becouse making it bigger would lose quality! But I didn't shut off Paint.NET for 3 days, so that I won't lose anything else important!

Sorry for douple post, but... I didn't feel like editing. I resized, but from that I needed to do a lot of changes. After that I needed to resize it again. The back cover is almost all new and Seth and Mia are a little blurried. Sorry, it got like that in the process of resizin, cause it lost quality when resizing... Sunno why, but that's the way it is. I even used the sharpen tool, but it didn't sharpen the people or the text in the back, so did those all new. Sorry, but if you got a better program for resizing, then you can resize it if you want yourself, from the pictures up there. But I hope this will do. I still left you some room to play with, so that if start placing the paper in there, you don't have to be so millimetre sharp in there. But still don't do it drunk! Beer and scissors are never a good combine! (LoL, Combine! Half-Life joke!) But I still hope you can enjoy your cover as it is right now and it didn't turn so bad. I tries my best to keep the quality still, but... it is what it is. That's life, I quess. Can't be sure until I get one.
