xD I'm just amused at how many conflicting "facts" people are throwing up.

We've had at least 5 different frame rates said to be "fact" now, its sillydiculous !!!

I didn't actually know the exactly number, all I know is that the persistence of vision effect starts at around 30. Actually, the whole vision effect is based around the fact that the image our retinas receive from the outside world stay there for approximately one twenty-fifth of a second, so around 25 is the threshold where flashing images trick our brain into thinking they are moving. So, our eyes do have an FPS, just not the same way as a computer.

Lets just go with the fact that movies are 24 FPS because it fits well with our eyes... I think...

This project seems to be coming along well. I don't see much changed, but still. Also, what is q+p supposed to be, it hurt my eyes!

Destroying the whole world is still pretty cool. Not IRL of course.

I was getting 4fps before i pressed q+p. After I got 2fps! Framerate was much higher before. What else have you changed since?

Both versions run at 4fps! You must have changed something else since beta 3. EDIT: I mean since beta 2.

I tried beta 2 again. That one still runs as before - 37 - 75 fps. Betas 3 and 4 run at 4 fps.

I don't know about you, but I thought that was what he was talking about. I have experienced this phenomena in real life on many occasions, going all the way back as far as I can remember as a child.

Under the right lighting conditions, and from the right view angle, if you look at a passing car which happens to have a reflective hubcap surface, you will either interpret the hubcaps, or sometimes even be fooled to thinking the entire wheel is spinning backwards as the car moves.
