Alright guys, sorry for the small delay. The winner is:

bmanbman332211

Scores were very close. I'll be sending the score sheets out to both entrants shortly.

@bmanbman332211,I'll send out your store models in a zip file to the email address in your profile later tonight. You'll need to get in contact with the other prize donors to obtain their contributions.

@The Zoq2, since you were the only other participant in the competition, I'm bumping your 2 choices from my GC Store account to 5. Send me an email with your choices, and I'll zip em up and get them out to you.

Not for awhile, sorry. Part of the reason I started this competition was to see whether or not participation would be high enough to host them on a regular basis. But with only two entries submitted by the deadline, I've decided to hold off on hosting anymore competitions for the time being.

ohh damm i'm late !

with me there you would have 3 entries

ohh... kravenwolf, maybe that was just lack of divulgation, and people haven't seen this thread.

well at least the theme is good, i don't see anythnig wrong with the theme.

when it's about a competition, time is just no the "thing" mate,
the definition of divulgation goes way beyond time, example: in this passed time i've seen no divulgation anywere, no sights, aint seen people talking about this, he could've done a litlle "span" about this competition on every comment he posted in the forum(have kraven made use of any new sight in the competition's time ? [i'm actualy asking]),Small things like that, as you surely know, are indeed makers of some serious vantage in everything that requires divulgation.
so... level desing is a pretty serious matter when the engine is fpsc, as this engine was designed to allow standart or even advanced(not likely) level desing capacityes without requring (almost) any programation Knowledge at all, so probably if we make a big community competition and make some... "noise" about this arround here, a big lot of people will probably be intersted in competing, and this is why i think that the only problem here is lack o divulgation, i mean who doesn't like kravenwolf in this forum ? he is a valuable member ! he helps, he give away some amazing free media (i even asken him if he is crazy once because of that ) so... the autor is more than fine, the theme is not just fine, it's critical, and the time as you said... there... was... plenty !
so i just think it was lack of divulgation

I thought this was a great competition, I would have entered, but my system is just not good enough.

It's an interesting point some people have made about the large subscription to the community model pack and the lack of entries in this competition.

I'm not totally sure why the difference is so stark, the amount of effort needed to create a good quality model is on par with a good level. I'm confident it's not the competition theme or the prises at fault.

Maybe it's the community spirit? Maybe instead of a level design competition there should be a community level design? Maybe even compile the enteries into a game?

I can see all sorts of problems, but I can also see it being fun and a benefit.

Just some thoughts.

Does this happen every month if so, what would the next competitions theme be ?, because I'm thinking of participating.

Would a scratch mark be a signature?
