My vote goes to the person with the Pelz: Wolf... with his rise to power, this forum will undergo some pelzig changes... such as free Pelz for everyone (you better grow some serious Pelz)!

Yes! None of you should underestimate the power of my pelz! (especially on mondays and especially around the area that is made of steel (tends to be wet there on hot summer days or everytime red things or a crossbow or coffee is involved)

I vote for Seppuku Arts.

Next time, the numbers of years someone has been registered here should correlate to how much a vote is worth. That would be good.

If I counted right then Jerico won, unless if there's some sort of "1 mod vote = 10000 votes" thing going on .

Otherwise... Congrats Jerico!

I know the presidency doesn't mean much, but I think we all got a few good laughs out of these two threads, and that's all that matters. Go us.

I have an x-military coup standing by. If for any reason this election is tampered with or does not come to the proper fruition, we will assume immediate and total control of TGC. All your forums will belong to us.

I'm just sayin.

I'm eating a 5 pound bag of potatoes as we speak. But I'm going to hold off the celebrating until matt gets his lazy bum in this thread.

Edit. I went through the votes again and added some missed ones to the spreadsheet. My numbers are still different than Obese's but I'm not going through all the posts again. Matt's gonna have to do it. From what it looks like, Obese and I have won.

Well Phaelax is secretly serving under my empire, so any votes for him automatically go to me.

Just kidding, just kidding... I'm not sure if additional VPs are allowed at this point, though.

Sorry, really bad weekend for me, but I've just tabulated the tables and counted the beans and reticulated the splines, and yes, Jerico is officially the new TGC forum President, and the second person to wear the crown in history. His first term begins today and will end on May 23rd 2011, giving him one full year as President. Congratulations Jerico!

TGC, I've been your President since 2008. It's been a long and challenging road getting this community to where it is... so arduous, in fact, that I couldn't even be around for most of that time! Don't be fooled by the monies, the interns, the secretaries giving birth to secret love children at the start of my Presidency... this job is harder than it looks, and having known Jerico for many years and having worked with him on this and that, I know he's definitely up for the challenge.

So before Jerico gives his Inaugeration speech, let me close out my Presidency by saying it was an honor and a priviledge serving as your George Washington here on TGC. Jerico will be the best John Adams anyone could hope for... including John Adams himself! And as I walk down the road of Presidential libraries, golfing, and the occasional future sex scandal, I want you all to know that you'll be walking with me every step and snort of the way!

And now, to open my Presidential Library... AMAZON.COM! That's right. Amazon is the Matt Rock Presidential Library. Pretty dang impressive, isn't it? But were you expecting anything less from the first President in TGC history? I think not! So the next time you're buying whatever it is you buy from Amazon.com, think of me! Your first President Evers!

Thraxas, if you would do the honors...

[Matt's Final Presidential Edit]
Had to update my signature. Oh, and Jerico, don't forget, your edits from this day forth are Presidential Edits!

TGC's first Forum President. I'm George Washington sucka!

Thank you Matt. You have served this board well, and I can only hope to be as awesome as you.

Fellow TGC-ers,

Thank you for your votes. I accept the role of El-Presidente. It was a tough race, but the people wanted change, and I am the bringer of quarters.

I would like to thank my running mate, Obese87, whose help in my authoring career has been instrumental to my success. Never again should we put up with Comic-sans, but this is a topic for another speech. I would also like to thank Jimmy, for his knowledge of all things Jerico has helped me win the hearts of TGCers everywhere. Lastly, I would like to thank all those who did not vote for me, for if I hadn't been so 1337, those votes would have surely counted against me.

I have been here nearly since the beginning. I have seen folks come and go, but I have remained faithful to these boards and to TGC. I have in the past spoken poorly of TGC or its products, but it's only out of love. We have seen hard times. There was a time I thought Blitz might just pwn the hearts of our members. And I think now we're in some good times, with AppGameKit right around the corner, I think it will only get better. We must strive for freedom, for democracy and for the lols.

With all that said, I would like to make a few promises to my fellow board-men. I promise to always flush the toilet and leave the seat down after I am done. I promise to use the report abuse button only to effectively censor my opposition and, of course, stop spam.

I would also like to make a few goals. As l'président, I want to complete a game worthy of promoting to the top of the charts at all the major gaming outlets and distributors, so I'd like to call upon Jimmy and Obese to assist me with such a project (super totally serious guys, call me). I'd also like to see everyone wearing casual on Fridays.

Now, we only have one year to accomplish these goals or risk some newb taking away my iron grip. With our rabid-dog-like ingenuity, I think it can be accomplished.

Thank you, and good night.

Hmmm, I seem to be unable to use the promote button on Jerico's profile. I'll post in the Mods Lounge and see if someone else is able to do it.

It's very confusing as the button is working for all the random profiles I opened to see if it would work.

Really? My x-military coup is getting twitchy. We really don't want to have to assume command here, you know what I mean?

Anyway, nice speech Jerico2day! Congrats again on the beauty contest win.

Don't think this is over Jericho! The people NEED my mildly discriminatory and generally unrelatable opinions, they need my dictatorial policies. Next election, you mark my words, we'll see a significant difference. You just wait.

For now, back to plotting and making the odd racist comment.

[Unpresidential Edit]

Also, and I only just realised this, you totally spelled your own name wrong. Unless that's deliberate, in which case, you're a strange man.

Every TGC President is going to face a rough transition, lol. I had to storm a moon base, kill several moderators, and fight off an army of bots, and I still needed help from a higher power just to get into office. Hopefully they'll figure this out soon, we're President-less for the time being, and we all remember how terrible things were before we had a President
