When You say "co-op" do you two characters standing in the same screen or more like a split screen effect?

Also can you have weapons like swords, axes, knives, and a wizard staff?

Question To People Who Want This:

How do you think the local coop should be?

Option 1:
P2 will be on P1's screen in his FoV.

Option 2:
Both Players will Be On The Same Screen In A 3rd Person Look.

Pros of Option 1:
P1 will have lots of control, as usual, not limited to the abilities of the scripting engine.

Pros of Option 2:
Both players will be on the same screen with 3rd person. Not having to stay as close together.

Cons of Option 1:
P2 will have to stay in P1's FoV to see where he is going.

Cons of Option 2:
Both players will be limited to scripting capabilities. Not as much flexibility.

So how should it be?
Right no Option 1 is done but do you think Option 2 is needed?

You chose.

NOTE:
If you want Option 2, the release date will be pushed back to next week.

Hopefully not. You see, I'm out of power at this dumb house. it's 9:04 p.m. where I am. Thank goodnes that I have a phone to post this with. I am just hoping that the power will come back on soon. so the coop can b done with one keyboard no xbox contoler, or do u need two computors and thus two keyboards?

Hi, 2Beastmode4u Your script is very good but not perfect (my opinion, do not take this wrong), in my case, I use your scripts, but when using them in a zombie (MP39), this strikes me not (the character), I hope you answer me, and tell me how to make the zombie attack on my character, best regards. sorry my bad English I'm Hispanic, greetings.

I have an idea in which to use this in my project, but for it to work best i was wondering if it is at all possible to have a fade in and out effect, even if that means making a full screen decal (on the hud) that is animated to fade out/in. sorry if my question doesn't make sense :/

let me brake it down into stages if that helps:

Stage 1: it's in 1st person view (only if it's possible to switch between 1st view and this silent hill view)
Stage 2: the player steps into a trigger zone lets say and activates this Silent hill view script
Stage 3: instead of instantly switching to 3rd person, there is a transition - the screen fades to black, then fades from black to the 3rd person view.

so my two questions are:
1) is it possible to switch between standard 1st person view and this silent hill 3rd person view
2) is it possible to have transitions between this switch, or when it switches rooms like in your videos

thanks for your time. And don't worry, I'm not gonna bug you about adding this, I just want to know if you think it's do-able of hand.

Check the example map that ut came with. That should answer your questions for transition.
