PC case calls "a tower". Big tower, midi tower, mini tower. No?

No, a tower is a desktop stood up.

It's because the desktop PC is to be placed on the desk; not on the floor. Although I do put my tower PC on a desk

Better to raise it off the floor, don't get so much dust that way.

IGN Poll

Comes out 2:1 in PS4 favour.

So this small poll we have here was pointing in the right direction I think.

It's a long game, PS3 had a terrible start but did ok in the end.

I think Microsoft have got it pretty wrong with the tv integration and Kinect. Both are great features but a higher price for a less powerful machine is not a good trade off imo.

Lower power, but more easily developed for.
Lets not forget how advanced the PS3 was, and how poorly it did when porting games across from 360/PC.

Remember, Sony have always gone for quantity over quality. Just look at the PS2 games library!

The PS4 has not made the same mistake this time around, it is just as easy to develop for as the XBox One. The PS3 was more powerful than the 360 but you are correct that it was not easy to develop for and that hurt it.

Oh ok, I'll have to take your word though, I have not heard anything about that. I heard one indie developer saying it was really easy but he may have just been being nice

Then why have multiple game companies said that they prefer developing for the PS4 because it's easier? I remember that being thrown around a lot back before MS did a 180* turn with the Xbox One's policies.

I'll stick to PC, but if I have to I'd rather get a PS4 since I already owned the first playstation to the third one in my life. I used to have the first Xbox and already sold my PS3 this year and I still own a batch of PS1 and my PS2.

I actually just bought a PS3+GTA V bundle because it was a great deal. A PS3 Super Slim 500GB model, GTA V and a 30-day trial of PlayStation Plus for $270? I just couldn't pass up the deal.

I plan to get the PS4 sometime next summer or late spring, when there's more games that I'm interested in. My brother is going to get the Xbox One, eventually I'll probably get that too so that I can play some games online with him!

I go where the games I love or interest me are whatever platform their on. Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts (and many others plus the indie push for the future) for instance so I'll be getting a PS4, that's set in stone for me!

If I see something that interests me on the Xbox One then I'll get that!

So at this moment in time PS4 for me

I just ordered an Xbox One, Sam's Club got some in stock and it *claims* it will be delivered sometime next week.

Of my friends, many of my PS3-touting buddies are getting/have gotten a PS4, although it seems most with 360s are waiting a little while.

I have my XBox one. It's awesome, such an improvment on the 360.

Cool Mobiius. My PS4 should arrive Friday.

To me, there is very little difference in the way the cross platform games look on both consoles, and whatever one you get you are going to miss out on some awesome games on the other

I'm not too bothered about exclusives, as none of the PlayStation games appeal to me. (There are a very few exceptions, but not enough to make we want to buy a console for. I can't justify buying a PS3 just for Gran Turismo for example)

I agree, too much emphasis is put on exclusives, the game I am looking forward to most is Battlefield 4.

I'm pretty disgusted at micro-transactions in games which you have already paid for. This is not XBox vs Playstation since for all I know Sony might be planning the same thing, I am referring to Forza 5, I hope this does not become the norm. If Drive Club does a similar thing I will not be going near it

I too hate micro transactions. But what I hate about them the most, is buying content that you cannot use in subsequent games.

Guitar hero/rock band solved this by making tracks backwards/forwards compatible. This is a good thing. But Turn 10 releasing the same car packs for each game, and not offering any new tracks is a bad thing.
