Is a custom Windows icon for our projects too much to ask for? I have no idea how much work that is but seems like something that would be nice to have in the new IDE.

What is the minimum requirements for running the MAC version?

I only have an early 2008 macbook, running v10.7.5

I get: "AGK2 quit unexpectedly." error when I try to run it.

Hi, Paul has verified that he has only compiled for OS X 10.9+ at the moment. He is going to try to lower that.

I know that you met the requirements of the drawing commands for Kickstarter.
but would you still note a DrawTriangle( x, y, x2, y2, x3, y3, color1, color2, color3, color4, filled ) commando to your list
It feels wrong to have a own Triangle command and hassle with drawtoptriangle and drawbottomtriangle since there are 2D drawing commands and a triangle is somehow basic.

However, two people have reported crashing under 10.7, so it'd be good for Paul to look into it regardless, eh?

Those errors look like they are caused by an old Windows SDK, I recommend version 7.1 available here

I have only tested it on 10.9, but it looks like it also works on 10.8. I will try and get this down to 10.7.

The new array syntax doesn't accept expressions, you could do this instead

Is it possible to devellop the Spine commands futher so we can "get" information about the position and rotation of individual images attached to skeleton at any point in time during an animation? (Or is it possible already now?).

Loving the offline apk builder. Would it be possible for the project to remember the settings entered into the builder menu, it's not a major problem, just slightly annoying to have to keep re-entering the details each time.

Also, some sort of build status would be nice to have, I wasn't sure if the package was being built or not until the very end.

Thank you Mr Johnston for this build, AGKV2 it really is starting to buzz now.

Agree with ched80 and a few others on the remember the last build. Having a few path problems to, it was annoying having to type in all the settings again.

Just need 3D bullet physics for my pinball,and coin dozer games and this will really make AppGameKit take off from the rest of the competition,
on price and ease of use,and increase TGC's market share.

How does one change the agk splash that pops up on ios devices with the lovely export to iOS option? And set targets n that?

It should remember it whilst the IDE remains open, even if the export dialog is closed and reopened. Remembering it in the project file could be a useful addition.

Difficult to add as it blocks the UI thread, and I haven't tried GTK with threads yet.

If you go into the AGK2.app file and find "Contents/Resources/share/geany/ios/source/AGK 2 Player.app" you can show the package contents and add new Default.png files, or change the Info.plist file, and they will appear in your export. The icons will all be overwritten so don't change them there. Also don't change the com.thegamecreators.agk2player bundle ID here as AppGameKit looks for it.

This would be akin to the feature in Visual Studio where you can right-click an open project and select "Open Folder in Windows Explorer" and Xcode offers similar functionality via "Show in Finder."

Relatedly, the option to show all files in the project directory within Geany could prove beneficial for editing non .agc files such as other configs, xml etc.

I second this wish. Just like the "Open Containing Folder" feature in the V1 IDE when right clicking on an editor tab.

With regard to the spine commands, a command to flip your character in the horizontal plane would be more than useful. Currently it is completely impractical to use a spine character in a platform game without having to duplicate every animation. For me it's the only reason I am not using spine at the moment and still reverting to my own animation system...

I tried the EDI on Mac OS X yesterday and have a little problem with it.

I have two screens: one on the left, and the one for the iMac. The external one is rarely switched on.

AGK 2 EDI on Mac start on this screen, even I'm using the principal one. I think it's configured somewhere that it use the first left screen it find on a Mac... and in my caseit's not the good one.

It would be better it launch on the active screen.

And thanks Paul and TGC for this new release, it's a great soft !

You can open up other files and add them to your project. I did a test with .txt files last week.

i have a strange crash, sometimes a function is ok , after the 2-4 call
it crash the app at pc there. (means in v2 alpha 6.)
i had update a v1 project to v2 with less changes.

this make a problem!?

All of a sudden I can't export APK's anymore.

"Failed to add media files to APK" or similar.

Running as admin, rebooted, restarted and all that.


Edit: Been messing around and this seems to be something on my end with a particular project. Other projects work

Edit2: The fault is with dropbox and my last name. Dropbox created a "conflicted file" bytecode with my last name in it, which contains an "ö".. yay
