Anyone in the UK managed to do this section of the amazon Store for apps that sell?

Quote: "Complete Tax Identity - In order to comply with United States Internal Revenue Service tax regulations, the Amazon Mobile App Distribution Portal requires a tax identity to be completed by all account holders. Your tax identity must be completed if you intend to submit paid apps or apps that contain in-app products or which otherwise generate royalties or other payments to you from Amazon."


I am not 100% sure what to put in here, I have entered my IBAN and BAC details into the relevant parts on the Amazon Store but to sell apps on there you also have to do the tax section and I am not great with this stuff so if anyone has experience with Amazon Store for this when selling apps then please help.

I have had a search around Goole and found the above link and then gone back into the tax interview section of amazon for selling Apps.
I can't believe I have been putting this off for a while now as I wasn't sure what to do but it is very simple.
The TIN non US ie for UK residents is just your national insurance number!

Simple but there you go.

I have filled it all in and am just awaiting approval now.

All done and approved within 20 minutes, was surprised how easy it was and it had me stumped for months wondering what to do.
