When i first came to the DBP Forums, there was a guy trying to make a Virus using DB. I was just wondering what the most Stupid DB projects have been, and the most stupid posts on this Forum are. I figure it would be a good laugh. -Dave

I saw a game that you had to see how many birds you can hit out of the air by flinging used burnt-out old video cards, in a set amount of time. The birds were RAVENs.
I don't remember who wrote that game or what became of it after the rights were sold off Geri and his men who were vacationing in mexico with some palestinians.

Jeff Minter was good at making strange games for the Amiga! LLamas flying through space 'n stuff!

I've made a game where the computer invents it's own stories, and the stories are totally mental....and a bit rude!

There was this Aussie bloke called D-something who was making a game called 'Lester the Panty Thief', had some really good artwork too. Although it doesn't look like he comes here anymore, perhaps someone else knows what became of him.

I had an idea for a game, but it's far too sick and silly to consider making (My alter ego might think differently).

Take every famous wheelchair bound celebrity you can think of, Chris Reeve, Timmy, Steve Hawkins, that guy from Gattica, Ironside, Davros (or whatever his name was) from Dr.Who - split them into teams, give them 2 goals and a huge ball and you have...

SPAG BALL!!!!

It could very well be the funniest game ever made!. I might make it for comic relief next year.

My fist game was made using STOS for the Arari ST. I was about 8 at the time, and it was made by me and my pal who lived across the street. we called it Dartin, it was about a monkey with a Banana Blaster (like a bazooka for bananas) and we swung from tree to tree till we realised our game was the lamest thing ever made by man and dropped it. We worked on a very early version of my "Spaceman" Game for a while, but we never finished it. Actually, finding those early files would make a nice feature for my website...

Good idea, coding for charity. We could make a very silly game indeed...

A while back someone (Raven, I think) posted something about a new console that could ran DBP games. The whole concept died rather quickly.

Stupidest forum moment huh? When since the damn think died I guess the cursed "Elemiation of Evil" thread. That bastard of a thread just kept coming back from the dead, nothing but 10 some pages of flames, I'm surrprised it was never deleted or locked.

Raven still claims he's played HL2 and Doom 3, which is amusing. Next time I meet the Queen of the Galaxy, who I regularly meet with because I'm just that cool, I'll ask her if he really did!

Megaman Zero beats the nFinity console for stupidest forum moment, but only by one point .

No... the Nfininty console is NOT the one at the top of the Works in Progress forum. The Nfinity console was one of Raven's works. "Supposedly" he had NVidia doing the production and already landed companies such as EA and Edios to develop for it. LOL!

Ra of Imperium: but I will
Ra of Imperium: my technology is a bit down due to finatial troubles
TheAbomb12: how do you know its him?
Ra of Imperium: um, its hard to describe
Ra of Imperium: actually, its easy, but everyone thinks im full of sh*t if I say it
TheAbomb12: is that so?
TheAbomb12: well, that sucks
Ra of Imperium: but let me just say, I tested really really high on psychic aptitude tests
TheAbomb12: I see... well, I hope you find him!
Ra of Imperium: yes, as soon as I can get a game out
Ra of Imperium: I should be able to finish my technology
Ra of Imperium: and actually go after him
TheAbomb12: what technology are you trying to develop?
Ra of Imperium: well
Ra of Imperium: ive got working plans
Ra of Imperium: but I need the money to buy the materials
Ra of Imperium: but its a kind of mecha
Ra of Imperium: more like a power armor but still mecha in nature
TheAbomb12: cool!
Ra of Imperium: I estimate the proper cost will be anywhere from $60,000-$100,000 per unit
TheAbomb12: wow, thats less than a F-22!
Ra of Imperium: yeah
Ra of Imperium: its only about 2x the size of a human
Ra of Imperium: and its made with a new type of metal
Ra of Imperium: called metal peirce
TheAbomb12: how much is it costing to research this matireal?
Ra of Imperium: its already out
TheAbomb12: cool! well you can get started right away...
Ra of Imperium: on the shrike?
Ra of Imperium: or the game?
TheAbomb12: shrike?
Ra of Imperium: the mecha
TheAbomb12: oh, uh.... the shike...
Ra of Imperium: oh, if I can raise some money really quickly I can
Ra of Imperium: but its not looking like it will happen until I get the game
