I had been looking at the
No Video Jam, because it seems so different than the usual Jams in not requiring artistic skills. (where the graphics can slow many people down in jams)
I had not even given this 'genre' of games any thought prior to seeing that Jam, and it opened my eyes to a lot of things I had not considered in development before.
This kind of App would have much more purpose and merit than just a plain game, and it could showcase AppGameKit to a new group of dedicated developers.
No audio was my little game's big flaw in this one, and doing the No Video Jam would be a complete 180 degree turn, but I may not have the time right now to do another Jam.
However, I will be giving more thought to development of apps for the blind, and making all the voice clips so it is not dependent on any screen reader. (why it would be so time consuming)
If only our text to speech could work for Windows and HTML5 builds (not a request though, because Windows 10 has enough issues) , then it would be a snap.
With that said, I would probably have to get back into Android development for a task like that Jam, but I may have wait for their next one.
