This is really awesome stuff! I know I am making a 3d game creator but I just love 2d stuff as well ( I built my own mame machine and also own a Metal Slug 2 and MArvel Vs Capcom Arcade units )

Seeing these kinds of physics in a 2d perspective opens up all knids of possibilities in my head. I will definitely take a more detailed look into this when I have more time.

Excellent work man

Hey Chris ... Top Stuff!!

I've only just started playing around with physics, I thought I would start 2D for now and then maybe tackle the intricasies of Newton.

I would like to be able to change the value of gravity but I don't se an option available to do so in Fizz. Is there a way to do it? Maybe through Newton itself? Like I said I haven't tackled Newton yet so I don't know.

Good work though ... keep it up

To set gravity in Newton you need to do this:

You can use this function:

Well, i'm having a problem with Fizz
Whenever i use 'MakePlayer' the screen turns completly blue, only showing the player(like you paste an image without turning of the backdrop).
The strange thing is(well, for me it is :p), i only have this problem with MakePlayer, all the create physics options work ....

Here's my code : offcourse without fizz.dba and media, since you don't need my images to compile the project :p

BTW , i also have a problem with jumping, can someone help me with that too ?

Oh god, it's been so long since I looked at this code I can barely remember it.

I think I'll redo it some time soon with DBPro's new built in physics stuff because Newton, although awesome, can be confusing.

I would really recommend trying to look into the physics yourself, just get the new 5.9 update and start experimenting!
