It should come up with that clever phrase if the swear word is anywhere in the search string...has to try three times to get the proper message about my mouth

Very clever indeed... but I would've thought 'April fools' or something along those lines would've let me in .

Now excuse me while I think up more excuses for my painful amount of tries

b00. Yeah, I put "Rich is gay". No wonder it wouldn't let me in lol. Finally got it though! It was too easy and I was reading into it. That's what I get for thinking!

Really? I thought all I tried was "april fools." I may have exited and re-entered the site when I clicked the Google image.

Interesting IP based login, I couldn't get the page to appear again.

it's still 7 pm march 31st for me. i was so confused, and never really figured out what happened. i think i took about 3 tries. oh well. good joke!

i've just taken anything of value from your computer, credit card numbers, social security numbers, etc. oh, and you can't trace me, but if you’d feel better, go ahead and waste your life trying.

I just snuck around it by entering from the developer site directly into the forums... seems you might have forgotten a route... Not that it didn't make me cuss though...

Actually I believe it's cookie based, I've had to get past it thrice from the 3 different PCs using the same home network.

Anyways it is most clever... but the people getting in with the 'I don't like april 1st' and darkbasic logo have it a lot easier than the people who tried in the first hour or so

Btw, nice Star Wars reference

It doesn't _celebrate_ anything.

Nope, there's no "backdoor". You either have the cookie or you don't.

Dang it! I wasn't expecting any April Fools Day jokes on the 31st of March. It scared the crap out of me! Until I saw the I dont like April Fools Day button. Very clever and funny, but a day early for me. *crosses fingers* It only took me one try to get in! *looks around* Ok! Fine! I don't know how many it took!*uncrosses fingers*

Smile, it confuses people.

Indi, I'm sorry mate.. but you made me laugh the most so far (via MSN)

indi says:
hi mate, are you working on the forum?. Im getting a googled page with a darkbasic triangle in reference to where the forum was.

Rich says:
hmm not sure why

indi says:
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/gs.php

Rich says:
strange... wonder how that happened...

indi says:
i have no idea, brb ill try a mac and surf it

(he did eventually get it of course, but it was a true April 1st gotcha)

Cheers,

Rich

I clicked the "i hate april fools" button the second time. However I never searched anything cause I thought the first time I hit my google bookmark on accident. So I got it in 2 even though the log may say 0 or 1 or something else, who knows.

Great job, Rich

So THAT's what you were asking about google for, eh?

I did the same as Billy, thought I'd hit my Google bookmark instead of the forum on, then I tried to use index.php to get past it, then I noticed the button

Great job!
