Ya I dont I just got a character model Idea of a little girl with a big smiling for a school photo. So the model wouldnt exist in your catergories cause it only exists in my imagination.

Ya Hollywood was awesome I didnt get to see anyone famous though . But I did get to be on the set of War of the Worlds(it was a tour). And I got to ride many roller coasters so it was fun.

@AZP, as long as the lizard fits into the category character, made up ones or ones from indie games/movies/comics/etc don't count, so none of ye can model Akai from Ronin

@BenD, glad you had fun shame on the lack of famous people, if you have any lil brothers/sisters you couldv'e convinced some of the stuff on WOTW set was real and that aliens are taking over, or something to trick em (like telling my older sister it was snowing on a hot day, jeez can't believe she fell for it lol)

@Master chief, cool, my friend who works in a restuarant cut himself and the chefs told him to put salt on it why doesn't he let it bleed like I do.....

@BenD cool, so were the aliens real too I'm going camping in the cotsworlds, not much of a holiday, but its been years since we went on holiday, me and my brother are wanting to go to Japan next year or the year after, which is a reason we're trying to learn Japanese
and bruce lee looks like a nice characture

@AZP looks nice, so wheres the lizard from?

@Mach, nice, not much of a Kim Possible fan I only watch the disney channel for Recess and some of the movies (only the Pixar movies )

and well looks like a nice start, 5 days maximum left

What the Kim Possible movie? Hardly, it's more like an extended episode. What happens is Drakken & She-Go steal a monkey statue that allows the user to travel through time.

So She-Go goes into the past to the first mission Kim gets. Tells her past self a plan. As a result Ron gets sent away to Scandanavia or something. Somewhere with weird meat dishes anyways.
As such they never see each other and without Ron, Kim gets beaten for the first time.. then Rufus (or one of his ripped decendants) comes back from the future to take Kim and Ron there to stop 'the master' who turns out to be She-Go.

Ron breaks the monkey and everything turns back to normal, except Ron gets this thing against Scandanavian meat dishes.

Kinda ticks me off actually, cable company killed my cable box. Said "yeah don't worry we'll have it fixxed in a week".. It's been 3 months now. Wouldn't be annoying but the part that broke is the signal booster, which without I can't get the Disney Channel because it's one of the high-end signal channels. Missed Season 4 of Kim Possible

no SkyOne is a low-end channel, but SkyMix is a high-end one.
So I can get SkyOne but not Mix.

Despite the fact I'm paying for both. I never really watch terrestrial. Mainly for the fact that the only shows I'd watch I saw like 3years ago on Sky. heh

I find terrestrial is full of crap mostly, so I guess all the low end channels are the good ones and the high end ones are the crap one, or doesn't your luck work that way

@Zotoaster's bro: Is that an entry for the competition? the lizard looks pretty good but it looks like you have some serious texture stretching on the terrain. It also looks like you didn't change the terrain from solid to smooth, or you rendered in edit mode(blender)
What did you make it in?

Hehe, is it ok to post work that is designed to go in a game?

Seems all this stuff is crazy polygon counts - If I post something to enter I don't want people telling me it's too low poly!

well, really depends, does the game character fit the requirements, if yours as well as AZP isn't based on a specific wellish known character, then I may have to change the rule on that

Well I have a model of someone, but it's really for a secret project so I should'nt post it - I'll sit out this one I think unless you feel like setting up a second compo for regular game models.

Personally I think that true modelling skill comes from the ability to work around restrictions and make the best of what you have, be it 10,000 polygons or 100 polygons. So if this is for character models not designed for a game, then maybe a game media compo as well would be cool. I know it's all just for fun but at the end of the day we could do with more people getting into modelling and posting their work, so anything that encourages that is good.

oh
and

I'M BAACCKK!!!!!! Holiday was nice, had to put up with chavs, but slayer/NIN/Evenessence/System of a Down can be a best friend at times like that, the cotswolds were really really nice, especially Upper and Lower Slaughter (not because they had some cute Japanese tourists there )

I've not heard anything from our darling winner BA, as soon as he says something and chooses the topic, if he takes to long to turn up we'll have to start with out him and sort out something for him to start the one after.
