Thanks have you ever played silent hill games my game is simular to that but im not trying to copy! mostly all the good stuff is taken you know what i mean.

The nurses has a bug/parasite in them well everybody dose they are all possesd by the mark of claudia demon witch who cursed a little town/city with the rebirth of the evil to rule the world/univers once again

mainly shes trying to bring hell to earth!

actualy i had an idea with a vending machine were you go to the hospital gift shop take the dollar got to the vending machine use it and you see a key in the vending machine so you push B2 and you get the emergency elavator key!

it is named: hosp_bed_t2.dds

and it is in the directory which corepak was installed to, so its in your entitybank folder, then the folder named CorePak 1.

so basically, its in the relative directory

yeh sure, use them as you must, just dont re-distibute without my permission

im proud to say i finished the sword i was doing earlier (its not for any game, or anything, its actually high poly, i just enjoy 'quality' modelling)

im quite proud of that, that ones a keeper its little fun projects like this, that might help for a job interview one day

well anyway, back onto the cars, i'll do some pretty "obvious" colours, basically the primary's on the colour chart and some more

Yeah Jon, that sword is a keeper. About the job interview that you mentioned. On gamedev.net I saw that Lucas Arts is hiring. You should go check it out. Also, do you think that you can post a pic of that M249 you mentioned in crows thread here? I really want to see it, it is my favorite heavy machine gun.

lol, that would be cool, though im only sixteen, so i dont think they'll let me in, lol

i'll post the pic here if you want, it was more of a 'quality project' like sword, so i didnt care for polycounts, but in my new pack, it'll be good in game, but heres what i needed the texture for:

i could never find a decent pic to get a texture from for that, so its been in an old folder on my comp for ages untextured

Holy sh!t!!! That is awesome! I wish that I could model like that. Most of my weapons suck compared to most modelers on this forum, mostly yours and crows. I dont have 3DS Max, I only have milkshape, which is good, but not good enough to make industry quality models like yours. Looks great Jon.

thanks, but you dont need an absolutely brilliant modelling program to make good models, its more about the persons skills, anyone can model well

weapons are the easiest things to model, you'd be suprised, if you think about it, all they are made up of, are basic primitve shapes, altered and extruded in places... thats the concept of box modelling

the tutorial that got me started with modelling was a gun modelling tutorial, from www.tutorialized.com

in fact, here is my first model:

VERY bad huh?

but thats how i learnt, i just kept making guns over and over, then it got accurate, then i went onto UV mapping, and ripping textures from images

i can make pretty much any weapon now, with proper side referance images, its very easy

i might make a video tutorial on weapon modelling soon, they can actually be made very quickly, when the right methods are used

EDIT:

christ, after looking at that gun, and then the sword i just finished, ive come a long way!

well, not overall certain yet, but ive planned to make a varity of animated characters, animated weapons, a whole bunch of entities and some segments

also, people who have bought vol. 1, will get a discount if they buy vol. 2, i dont know how much, i havnt planned things financially yet, but ive started a slow development on the characters, i cant use all my time, it must go to revision for my exams, so the pack wont be made as fast as vol. 1

ok, heres the extra colours for you, they are:

Blue
Green
Orange/Yellow
Red
White

just place them in your CorePak directory, and when you want a different colour, just alter the texture setting, like i said about the hospital bed

adobe photoshop?

lol, thats very well known, im suprised you dont know of it

it costs around $400 i think, im not sure, theyve got a new version called CS out now, so i dont know about price drops etc.

its also good for cover-art, aswell as any art, i make CD covers, logos, textures, banners, covers and posters with it from requests, if you learn it well, you can truly harness some great effects from it.

not MS Paint!

lol, j/k PaintShop Pro is basically Adobe PhotoShop's arch nemesis, and there kinda alike i think, from people working on the net. they are both used for the same things and return equally good results, even when coming to photoshops amazing abstract details

i only remember having a really old version of PaintShop Pro, i never got the time to learn it, but it was pretty good, and is satisfactory to any graphics design
