Well, whatever is going to make up the pack will have a single theme to it most likely (i.e., a furniture pack, an office pack, a streetlamp pack, etc.). Thanks for the suggestions.

how about a bloodeath pack

where everything is cycled around death and blood

I.e crates with splatted blood on them

dead animals
cages with blood on the floor of them

even tho bloodeath is my name i think its a good idea
and could help all of us
in 1 way or another

I try to stay with 'worn' or used textures. Blood on everything would limit who could use the pack (the same applies for making something really dirty). Thanks for the idea though.

@ seven, have you tried clicking on the 'floor' paintbrush and deleting it? Otherwise I would just get rid of it all, and start again.

I should rename this thread to the "what do bloodeath and seven want in a pack?", thread. I thought I'd get more of a response; oh well.

I like to continue to give to the community(s) when I can; as well as make pay packs. I don't like to come around just to ask for people's money. Hopefully the community has a use for my commercial work as well.

The 3 packs I am considering is a Street Pack, an Office Pack, or a Hospital Pack. The Pack will contain 3-4 items (depending on their size). I'd like to knock out the Model of the Month for May before I tackle this though.

So far it looks like another building; with furniture coming in as a close second. It's been pretty close for the last week now. Good stuff. (I'll take that coffee if it's got cream and sugar in it )

If you want plants then google "Plant Studio 2".You can use that app to make all sorts of flowers and plants and it is easy to use.

Eventually (when I can get the money) I plan on buying XFrog for all my vegetation needs. Thanks for the praise, Bloodeath. I would have been done years ago, if it wasn't for that whole 9 years in the Army thing.

Hi ya, how about:

*A radio or CD/ stereo (ghetto blaster) thingy...
then we could add some music trigger points in our levels.

*A TV (Plasma or LCD type)

*an XBOX (so i can add the animated 'fire' decal on top of it.)

*A pile of horse/cow dung (only because i then want to add some steam to it...that would kinda be stupid any funny all at the same time...but i think a bit of humour is a good thing in a fps)

*An answering machine...again for the sound trigger potentials...as a way of telling or advancing the narrative or giving clues in the game/level.

I guess the general idea i'm kinda getting at is to have items that
have a purpose and can be placed in your levels to help to provide more info to the player with the sound triggers that we can make and add ourselves, depending on the type of game we are making...

In games like F.E.A.R. and Vampire-The masuerade: Bloodlines, the player could gained info from objects in the game like the answering machines etc and this type of game play helped drive the story/objectives/quests. Hope this makes sense.

Keep up the good work,

cheers,
Munky

Those are good ideas though, Munky; especially the concept behind their use. I'll jot those down as a possibility (not doing the horsecrap though ) Seven is right about the XBox and TV though.
