Well, graduation is done; and I'm glad

I've got the Model of the Month (in case you haven't checked recently, the building category won again) to do, as well as the office pack. I'm gonna try to knock those both out in the next 2 weeks. Among other things, I'll be starting my next commercial pack. But between now and Monday, I'm not doing ANYTHING ...

I'll be doing what I'm doing now I just won't have school to get in the way anymore. Over the next few months I'm going to be doing a combination of content creation and a continuation of learning graphics software; including learning to animate. We're also going to be working on our first game using the Torque 2D game engine.

Thanks for the congrats, by the way Jon. No more Papers!!!!!

That's why you're the programmer and I'm the artist I couldn't code to save my life. I was hoping for furniture as well; but it was cool seeing how close they both were for the last few weeks. The people have spoken, and they want another building

Thanks for the Congrats as well.

I need to decide if it should be a set that goes together, or a group of items that don't neccessarily have anything to do with one another (except belonging in an office).

Right now I'm thinking coffee machine, answering machine, file/paper holder, and possibly some sort of radio. That looks like the list so far.

I have been thinking about trying my hand at a few potted plants. We'll have to see. This pack will have a maximum of 4 objects.

I think a coffee caraffe will be better than a regular coffee machine. The April Model of the Month is going through the texturing proccess; it's an unusual building; I hope you guys like it.

Keith here’s some more things Swing line Stapler, bottle of white out, pencil sharpener, staple remover, paper shredder, desk lamp that has a swing arm, Cubicles! Long conference table and chairs, podium for speeches, projector for laptop, PC's, laser printers,
I can make an animated desk for you so the drawers will open up and maybe something can pop out of one of the drawers ?

Wow, that's a long laundry list A desk with sliding drawers might be nice. Maybe I'll do a few smaller things as well. Thanks, Martin.

I'm also going to be making some more animated models, I just got sidetracked I'm building myself a new PC, I just odered the ATI ALL in wonder Radeon X1800XL a couple days ago and new MSI motherboard Athlon 64, 2 gigs of Patriot PC 3200 ram, as soon as it finished I'll be making some more models.I can't wait to see how much faster my new PC will run Max and FPSC.

What speed is your ram, usually I use pricewatch.com to find out what site has the best price on what I'm looking for, I also buy alot of PC parts from Newegg.com. They usually have the lowest prices on just about everything and they don't try to rape you on shipping cost

I haven't started looking around yet. The last time I bought 512MB DDR for around $40 though.

Good; we've got our first one coming out in a few days. FPS-Files will be in the designated section at the bottom; I'll have to figure out what a good logo size is for all the member's sites that will be going in there (probably just have a link in this month's). We're sending out the link to it in a PM to all members; so check you'rs in a few days. Let me know if I need to do anything for the FPS-Files one.

Here's an update. These aren't textured; I just used shaders to show them off. The stapler will have 2 textures (black and red). I decided to make two paper holders instead of one.

Thanks, Returned; I figured you would come along and post. I would like to see some people come and post who rarely do, but still find the time to grab the packs when they're done. This'll probably be the last free pack of this kind for awhile, as I need to concentrate on more commercial work it seems.

The last thing to add to this pack is a small answering machine I think.. I want to knock out that model, and most of the UV Mapping this weekend (if not some of the texturing). It shouldn't take the Old Man long to throw it into our installer once I'm done. A few weeks after the Pack is available on our site, it will be available on FPS-files.net as well.

How about stampers?

Like "Past Due", "Confidential", "Top Secret" or something.

One stamper model could be lots of stampers with different textures applied.
