Here is ine so far. Im not used to working with such a large poly count so forgive me. He is a shaolin monk. right now hes at 1939 tris. I need to add in some more muscle definition in the torso, possibly in the arms too. Also i need to remove the extra finger . I think I will actually just redo the hands all together.

ok how is this. it is a mech but i never did the mech contest ast month so this should be legal even thoughit sucks. this is my WIP.
it is 138 polys so far. but i tprobaly wont get textures becasue i dont know how.

Yes I made it for this compo, and I realize now that you're correct about the hilt. It's modeled after a dagger of mine, which I literally scanned onto my computer, and i neglected that part of the hilt. Thanks.

Ok, heres my wip.
I've gone for a dark futuristic type hero, his concept is already brewed up.
Focused on the main area of work at the moment as the rest is just boring blocking out of arms and legs.

now lets see if I can get this upload image to work!

well i finally managed to make a organic model that doesnt totally suck! and i think it turned out pretty good its uv mapped now so onto the skinning .

Well well, not the largest progress on myself I must admit. However just need an excuse to post Lots of very nice looking models I must say. Excellent competition Just hope I'll finish in time. I was put up to work this weekend, so I'll see how far it gets me, and just post what I have. So progress report nr2:

Hello everyone,
I finally finished the mesh itself. Now all I have to do is map and texture the thing, and ofcourse put in the weapon which I have yet to make. Stay tuned for more tomorrow.. just hope I'll be able to finish it all before the deadline.

Goblin type hero. His weapon is really his hands, but if since the rules require some kind of weapon, he has a blunt.




I'll try to texture if I get the chance in the next few days. Might at least slap on some green if nothing.
