This is insane for an all-code game. It's just so delightful! Controls are a little unweildy at first though, and one time I was blown down to nothing but a torso and slid into a corner...took about 2 minutes for the bots to get to me. Darn!

Ah yes. Might I suggest changing it to something like:
w - jump
a/d - run
f - toss gun
x - sucide
lmb - shoot
rmb - bullet time

I keep trying to duck and end up suciding instead

Sorry Valle, but I can't do music for this project - the style is so off-the-wall I can't come up with anything that suits it! I've tried playing various loops while the game was running, but it clashes horribly and it just doesn't fit. Sorry

Very fun game! I modified the source alittle so that the shooting interval is 2, so that every gun is like a machine gun. I also added the fabled Weapon 8 that deals 600 damage. Hardcore.

Just played. Amazing. Just so amazing! definitely one of the best 2d games ive played in ages.

I love the non-media version as well, so could you release a concurrent one for those stick-loving purists out there lol?

It's now possible to create own levels with the Leveleditor and weapons by creating weaponfiles. You can also switch between English and German in the menu...

Everything else you have to know is in the ReadMe.txt ...

Very awesome! I like the rocket launcher.

One suggestion though, now that mouse aiming is available, it would be nice to be able to actually turn the character around so that he always points towards the mouse. It's difficult to hit the left key and then move the mouse left of the character. But very nice game, would be even better if it was multiplayer!

well i was kinda dissapointed that you didn't supply the source this time.. but yah..

I seriously think you should go multiplayer with this. i was talking to my friends and they said it would be brilliant as a multiplayer game..

i had a little fun and made a laser machinegun.

First off This game is totally awsome!!!

But I think it needs multi-player or a story line.
if you could send me the source I could work on multi-player for you I'm not a terrific coder but i've been working with multi-player lately and I think I could get it working mabe, no promises
though

That was nice! The EXIT Menu still isn't translated though. But overall that was really good! I cannot believe there's no media!

I doubt you can draw me/60 by hand, so you REALLY can't draw ME/1, can you?

Great game. You deffinately have to make this multiplayer. This is
one of the few dark basic games that keep me cooming back to play again and again. Don't stop working on it.

@ionstream - I've added the weapon you made to the game and I love it. Only problem is, when there are to many bullets on the screen,
the frame rate drops drastically.

Very Nice job!

I hope if u use some great 3d graphics, the game will be a great TPS(Third Person Shooter). I really love it, its much good.

Some suggetions:-

1) Turn off one thing, when the the soldier head, both legs, gets a shot then make it die, instead of leting the soldier run without a head. And can be alive without both legs.

2) Add a inventory to the Soldier so he can take about 3 weapons, Also give a knife to the soldier so that if he have no weapon he will use knife.

3) Your game need just some more hard work, and i hope this is a perfect game, u got a great idea. Try adding much quality 3d graphics.

4) Add another level (" Defend the flag "). so the soldier will defend the flag from the attack of the enemies. Give 100% energy to the flag. Reduce its energy 10% per shot.

....... No more suggetions, i hope the suggetions above are enough, and if ypu follow them it will help you make the game more great.
