Poor Agro! I got very attached to him during that game. Even though I cursed at him quite a few times for doing something unexpected.

Thanks for the compliment. Augh...I hate UV mapping. Lots of work to do...

I know the pain, UV mapping I find is the most awkward part, I mean when it comes to painting on the model it goes weird, perhaps tutorials might be an idea

Agro is great, but I'm just a bully when it comes to games, I tried to kill good guys on Zelda, but it never works!

Nice texture, gotta love the photoshop cloud filter

Uhh...I went to work on the head for Dr Robotnik(screw the fact that he's popularly referred to as "eggman" now...), and realized...this is a pain to box model...especially the moustache...perhaps somebody could help me figure out how to box model the moustache? I'll be working on it again tonight...but its turning to be a real pain.......

You dont have to rig and animate your character. Its more a modeling contest. but there is no harm in doing so..

Its good to see all these low poly models flocking in... we've got a bigger contest than last time. They are also been modeled at an alarming rate... and such good quality also... i can see this being a neck and neck race.

I hope it does. Dont hesitate to have a quick peek at character modeling tutorials around the net to get a better understanding if you ever get stuck. but its coming along from what u have showed us.

leave the width as is at the very end, but casually taper... I think that would achieve the best results.

The sleeves aren't long enough anyway. Look at the square faces on your model. He can reach to the 5th row of squares upwards from the base of the costume. His sleeves go to his wrists. So his sleeves go to half way down the 6th row of squares.

hmm... looks nice, can we have a wireframe?

I believe the hands are a bit long, and the feet could use some shaping up, like the sole and the toe area. Also you might want to define his arm muscles, and make the chest a bit more flowing.

Ill do a quick paintover for ya...

SRY 4 BAD H/W

Ignore the deviations of links head i kind of got carried away.

I could take your edited image as offence.

His gloves go all the up his forearm, I left out detail because it would use up my poly count. But becausr I have 500 polys free, I can do some editing.

Higgins, Oddmind is referring to how hands are on human anatomy, not the height of his gloves, I'm sure he knows that there are such thing as long gloves, really posh and fancy people wear them all the time

Being within metres of Chuck Norris you are within metres of death...did he get a game? I mean although no one is worthy to, but it would be a good thing for someone to make if he ever got one

dont take it as offense, I know that links gloves are pretty long, but your arms that you modelled in relation to his body are too long, and thats partially because his hands are too long.

If you look at that picture you posted, look where his fingertips fall, mid thigh...

Now rotate the arm you modelled at the shoulder, they fall from what I can tell at the knee.

thats all I was saying, you dont have to do anything that I said. I was just trying to help you out.

the muscle detail is just scaling of edgeloops. You have enough detail I can see to do some scaling/moving and you will be good anatomically.

Ive studied the human anatomy for several years and thought I could might shed some light on things, but if you dont like it I'm sorry and you dont have to take my advice.

I did take your advice and I have edited my model, I tried to get the hand smaller and made the whole arm a little thinner. Ill have to post another render later.

@OddMind - LOL!

@Insanity Complex -Thanks. Long time modeler, bout 5 years, but most of my achievements are on the FPSC section of this forum. I am by no means a coder or scripter, but I thought I'de step outside the FPSC box and see what kind of modeling talent is here too. Then I saw the contest and couldn't resist. What better way to display my own talents than to put it where it counts. Rather than calling myself a game designer, I've made the transition to more of a media man. Not that I don't still make games. I do, My current project is called 'UNDER', if you're intrested you can check out screens of it in the showcase section in the FPSC area. Sorry to go so off topic guys
