I personally can't stand the texture, but the actual model looks good. For some reason I can't help but seeing the texture as being a bit stretched.

I managed to squeeze in some work on the battle system

The enemy boxes have health and I'm working on getting the combat moves work right with the real time combat. I'm still using boxes becaus =e I'm improving the roman soldier.

Boy, the boxes have 100 health, and you lower it by 5-8 each hit... expect battle to be hard as hell

I'm hapy this game came back from the dead. I have an announcement.

guess what?

IT'S BACK!


I quit my Nvidia compo. It wasn't going well and I didn't want to start over.

INSTEAD, I'm starting over with this. Map 2 will now be Map 1, I will re model everything.

Plus, I'm spending LOTS of time making the MMORPG version! Its not gonna be hack and slash online, but actually an mmorpg.

So I'm re programming the engine and everything. The story is the same. But I've gotton much better at things so expect better graphics and gameplay

Online WORKS!

I played with my friend from different houses.. very far away ... Alquerian on these forums.

I have some good graphics going.. no cubes or backdrop showing

So when I start a thread for the mmo version of this, I'll show screenshots.

I was actually really impressed on the work done so far Xeno, good work and glad I was able to help The bloom really makes the environment look really neat, it will really start to stand out when you populate it with grass, flowers and structures. Can't wait for it!

I'll make sure I make this MMORPG great!

I'll post a WIP thread in a week or so, and expect major features.

I might need 1 or two testers.
I've already decided that Alquerian can test whenever he is availabe

Anyone else want to test? I can take two. You have to add me to MSN messenger at kronosdarkbasic@hotmail.com

You also have to agree that you do not take any of my media, as I took great time in making most of it, and having it stolen would dissapoint me and would not be good.



So I might show a screen shot or two in a couple days, and I need two more testers that can go on MSN messenger at least every other day.

ps roman leginairys had square shilds and auxilairys had oval and romans also threw a javilen then fought hand to hand maybe you could have tht in your game.
